Wow, the kids were melting down. They opened the kitchen a wee bit early for us (6:30 PM), which made life easier for both them and us, I'm sure. Excellent steak. The shredded potato dish (Rosti) was OK, though I prefer "breakfast skillets" in the states. This was good by Swiss standards, crisped potatoes, soft cheese, and sausage (we used... More

Nice traditional place that serves good food in a good atmosphere. The salad is good and the pictures on the wall are interesting.

We tried the steak on hot stone and the Entrecôte parisienne. Both were excellent. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere.

We've been there because we've heard we could eat the best fondue of Lausanne, it's true. It was very tasteful, we will go again. The staff was friendly and always available. It's better to call before you go. We recommend.

This is my favourite resto in the region for Swiss food. The staff are impeccable. They are intelligent friendly and so nice! The head waiter and waitresses were all so communicative and positive. They had larger than life smiles and genuinely cared to provide a superior atmosphere. It's a special historic place, the new dining hall opens next week, so... More

Very authentic small joint, cheese fondue menu is the way to go, share with friends, rustic and hearty. Nice wine from the regio, not disappointed. Even room fo dessert, amazing. A good place to take novices to Swiss cuisine.

... I went for the steak, and it was pretty much the best steak I've ever had. And I've had some great ones in lots of places. The place itself is very old world in style but a proper bar feel and lots of original features, you really could stay for a longer there have a good few drinks after... More

Literally the best fondue I've ever had. I have eaten here three times and plan on going back at least once more before I return to America. Reasonably priced, local wines are delicious, not too touristy, and just a wonderful place.

Great food, service and value for money. We had made an advance reservation for a Saturday night which was wise as it was fully booked. We were five adults and every had a fabulous meal an evening. Very relaxed and informal.
