This place didn't really live up to expectations judging by some of the high ratings. We didn't have fondues however. Two rostis and one steak. I felt the rosti's were a bit lacking in imagination - but perhaps that is how they are. The potatoes were pleasant enough but there wasn't much else, apart from the topping of sausage pieces,... When in Lausanne, I always get fondue from Pinte Besson. It is cozy, has its regulars who seem permanently toasted but it's not a dive... The fondue is so great and the service is excellent. I remember going to Pinte Besson when people were still smoking in the restaurants. That used to be my only con about this place. Now... More

It was our last night it Switzerland and we decided we needed to try cheese fondue here before we left. We got two of the "Fondue Menus", which includes a green salad, serving of fondue and a meringue desert. We could not finish all of the fondue, I'm thinking we would have been ok just ordering one serving and sharing... More

I went here with my family on a Friday night. The restaurant was fairly busy but not every table was occupied. Still, service was very slow. Our drinks order took about 20 minutes to arrive, and was followed by the food 2 minutes later. The drinks order was wrong, and we had to ask for water 3 times, eventually arriving... More

We had to try the traditional (cheese) fondue half and half 24.- before we left Switzerland. We shared one serve between the 2 of us and its more than enough! They only serve bread (a massive basket) with the fondue. It was a bit much for us to eat all that cheese and bread and we'll probably never eat it... More

Went here for a dinner with my wife. The environment looks good, with soft atmosphere. We had a very good fondue with a plate of regional meat. Price was reasonable, compared to the average of Swiss restaurant Only advice: book your table at least one week in advance!

Nice place with cute decor. Service very pleasant and sweet. Congratulations to the two very upbeat waitresses. Unfortunately the stuffed vegetables needed more cooking. Historical venue, good for a meal.

Not the most exciting decor, but the traditional dishes like the fondue and rosti are delicious. Fun to go with a group of people. Don't miss the vacherin for dessert.

I went there to try the fondue for the first time. Seeing from the picture on this website, it looks like the fondue contains the cheese, a basket of bread and a mixed plate (meat and vegetable). But actually, the found only contains the cheese and a basket of bread. Also, I feel the cheese is a little bit too... More
