The Vieux Navire will go down as the best service i have ever had in a swiss restaurant. The staff is very kind and professional. They're not just waiters, they are professionals that take their jobs seriously. You would never in a million years expect such a nice restaurant in this area (literally behind Ikea :D ). I was on... Situated in a tiny village in the vineyards, the place is an unpretentious gem. The interior makes you think of a French Brasserie. The food is simply divine and refined. The staff is very friendly and motivated. You immediately feel at home. The director has a mouthwatering way to present the menu. You simply cannot resist. The top-quality comes with... More

We love to eat in this restaurant, mainly the "Filets de perches", they are really good and the salad that goes with it has a delicious and unique dressing. The team has always been very welcoming. In the Summer, it is possible to eat on a terrace with a beautiful view on the Lake Leman (also called Lake of Geneva).

This restaurant is found in a small town called Buchillon. Once arrived until you leave the service is impeccable! French fries delicious, filet de perche oh mama...! And salad dressing one of the best. I must say that it is not cheap, but the final satisfaction will shadow this. :0) I recommend it if you have a special ocassion or... More

Wonderful atmosphere, great service, fine fish and excellent crèpes! Took the place of the Lausanne Palace Brasserie as our favorite restaurant in the Lausanne area after a disastrous dinner on December 16.

Very good restaurant overall, we were brought here by friends who could only recommend the perche filets as apparently this is the place to eat them, very good indeed! We were also told that the terrace in summer is amazing.

have been many times at the Vieux Navire - this Sunday was again a delight. Service is impeccable, always with a smile and some humour but efficient. And of course, the food is outstanding- A bit pricey, but quality needs to be paid. Local wines on the list of excellent quality., We go once a month, and surely will continue... More

This place is delicious! The trio of filets de perche was amazing to say the least. The crepes suzette was also a fun experience. This is not the place to go for a cheap lunch, but worth it just for the food and the experience. YUM!!

Very nice place in a small and romantic little village, with panoramic view from the terrace over the lake Leman. The dinning-room indoors is also nice, very bistrôt like. The service is good and efficient, the food is well cooked, specially the fish! Only bad note is that some dishes could be better balanced, ex., the gorgeous "fera" was served... More

This was recommended to us by our host during our visit to Lausanne. I must say the waiters are very professional, well informed and quite courteous and attentive. The food had a refined taste (took the local catch with lobster sauce and champagne foam on top) and serving is quite generous too. The chocolate cake was too good!!! Highly recommended!
