You need reservation before. Very nice home atmosphere, friendly. Place is not fancy, but you will feel very comfortable there. Meat is perfect. Very recommended in Lausanne.

Very lively, almost noisy place and a touch of old or simplicity if you look at the decor. We came 4 people with no expectations for a simple dinner. Now after reading other reviews, I can just agree - the meat was extraordinary. I had the beef filet which was one of the best I have had. Unfortunately on a... More

Definitely the best place to eat meat in Lausanne, no doubts about it. Of course I recommend Tartar Natacha, but charbonnade is also great. That is why better be really hungry before entering Petit Boeuf. It is not cheap, but worth it! One disadvantage: afterwards your clothes smell like after some MacDo without proper ventilation.

Ok I will start my review with a simple question: Do you want to eat the best Tartare you've ever had? Because if the answer is yes, then you should go to the Petit Boeuf. This place is more like a brasserie specialized for their meat. Many people go there to eat charbonade but the gold mine is the Tartare.... More

The atmosphere is quit nice overall although thats not why people go there. The meat are very good whatever you choose. Its a little bit expensive but totally worth it. The place is often full so dont forget to reserve before.

This is the second time I come to this restaurant, and I had confirmation of the really good quality of the meat. Moreover, they are open until midnight, which is not so common in Switzerland. Of course, prices are rather high, but you would expect this everywhere in Switzerland if you want to eat good meat and drink wine. Kind... More

it would be a crime to eat at petit boeuf and not order the Tartare Natacha. Being a big fan of Tartare I am usually quite dubious of "exotic" attempt at Tartare; tHis time, I must say I was just dazzled and I will be back for more next time I am in Switzerland. The place is unpretentious, the staff... More

I know what you are thinking. The idea of having a good steak in Switzerland doesn't exactly sound right. Unless you pay an arm and a leg of course at a top-starred restaurant. Nevertheless, this is it. If you like good steak, this is what you always had hoped to find in Switzerland - but had given up finding long... More

The beef here is fantastic (after all the restaurant has beef in the name)! I highly recommend the option where they put a bbq on your table and you cook small portions to your liking. Nice sauces and the crepe dessert is delicious. The service is typical for the region, so there is ample room for improvement.

Undoubtedly one of the best place to have meat in Lausanne. The entrecôte or Fillet de boeuf are always very tender and the service is welcoming and friendly. However, last time the fries were soft and looked very brown, which means that they had not changed the oil for a long time. In addition, be aware that your clothes will... More
