Saying something is excellent needs solid foundation and proof to do so. It was almost the case here.... only dissapointment? well I read they cut in front of you the tartare....hummm... did not... and even though he told me it was made with a knife.... I am not sure. However, I give them a nice A+ for the place, a... More

Meat is so good and tender at this place that it's unique. Trying food at Petit Boeuf make you coming back quicker than you expect ;-) Roesti and tartare have a unique and great taste

Dined here on the recommendation from a friend and really enjoyed the meal. Though the restaurant was busy and we didn't have a reservation they found us a table. We ordered all ordered the fillet steak and was very pleased with the results. The meals came with a pepper sauce and a spicy sauce, both very flavourful . Would happily... More

Went there on a business dinner with a large group. Staff were very nice and food excellent. If you like meet this is a very good address and especially for beef tartar. I had one of the best so far. If you are there, you must take the Nathacha style (vodka flambé). Overall good food, nice atmosphere.

You need reservation before. Very nice home atmosphere, friendly. Place is not fancy, but you will feel very comfortable there. Meat is perfect. Very recommended in Lausanne.

Very lively, almost noisy place and a touch of old or simplicity if you look at the decor. We came 4 people with no expectations for a simple dinner. Now after reading other reviews, I can just agree - the meat was extraordinary. I had the beef filet which was one of the best I have had. Unfortunately on a... More

Definitely the best place to eat meat in Lausanne, no doubts about it. Of course I recommend Tartar Natacha, but charbonnade is also great. That is why better be really hungry before entering Petit Boeuf. It is not cheap, but worth it! One disadvantage: afterwards your clothes smell like after some MacDo without proper ventilation.

Ok I will start my review with a simple question: Do you want to eat the best Tartare you've ever had? Because if the answer is yes, then you should go to the Petit Boeuf. This place is more like a brasserie specialized for their meat. Many people go there to eat charbonade but the gold mine is the Tartare.... More

The atmosphere is quit nice overall although thats not why people go there. The meat are very good whatever you choose. Its a little bit expensive but totally worth it. The place is often full so dont forget to reserve before.
