good food

had very good pasta and pizza dishes here. One of our better experiences in Zermatt in terms of Italian dinners. Recommended for non-pretentious down to earth italian dinner

Just dropped in and was immediately impressed by the staffs' warm welcome. Menu was extensive and reasonably priced ( for Switzerland :0). Me & the wife really enjoyed our pizzas.... The special looked great, but I wasn't hungry enough to face it. Again, the staff were superb.

uncooked fish delivered twice The main waiters attitude was absolutely incredible The most arrogant man I have met Refused to deduct my sons charge for main course even though they got it wrong twice and he ended up not eating anything. If this was the last restaurant in Zermatt I would still stay in Go to the Molino Seilerhaus a... More

On my visit, this restaurant served the most exquisite dishes, unconventional but driven by taste not fashion or fads. Very friendly service and good ambiance.

Pretty restaurant, with nice atmosphere. We just wandered in hungry after hiking. The staff was very accommodating and the ravioli was outstanding. It was not like any pasta dish I've ever had before. I'm not sure it was particularly Italian, but it sure was delicious.

We were strolling around, and just walked into this ordinary looking restaurant / cafe expecting nothing, and the pizza that was served was one of the best I've ever had. I would be back to try out some of their other items reco by others on tripadvisor.

We had a light lunch here whilst visiting Zermatt for the day to check out hotels for a future stay. This restaurant is on the main street so is ideal for the shops and also a short walk to see the Matterhorn. There is also a nice view of the mountains which we enjoyed from our table outdoors. We had... More

They had a good range of food-italian and Swiss. The winelist was a bit poor but I think that's because we were there in the "in-between season". The raclette dish was a winner with everyone. It's melted cheese, with baked potatoes, gherkins and pickled onions. Works especially well as a starter but you can order several portions if you want... More

A bit late with this review as we visited over New Year. I am amazed to see that this establishment is still open for business. The concept that each diner is compelled to order the same dish is preposterous, particularly at the prices requested. We paid for our aperitifs and left without eating so I cannot comment on the quality... More

Great food and great wines, very reasonable prices. 3 courses cost 88.- and you get to choose from the menu what you want. ( If you take only 2 courses it's still 88.-). The Bouillabaisse was outstanding and the brasato was also delicious. As for the wines it is only about twice the store price, which is very reasonable for... More
