We decided to go to this restaurant after reading some reviews. We made the right choice. The duck breast is the best and the steak is juicy and tender. The service is excellent. Our dessert of three local specialities are so so delicious. They have a great wine choice at a reasonable price too. Thank to all staffs and the... More

Great menu, high quality and fresh food and great service with reasonable prices. Nice outdoor setting if weather is good.

Ordered a few dishes - Mixed salad - average Raclette - taste good - cheese is beautiful Duck breast with Rosti - very nice. The meat is just right, juicy, not salty nor difficult to chew. Rosti is average, a bit oily and loose. Chocolate Fondu as dessert - average - mixed fruit is ok chocolate is not very thick... More

We were 6 celebrating my dad's 70th birthday! We were staying 50m from the restaurant so at the last minute decided to give it a go. We had a bit of a frosty reception from the staff when we first arrived - possibly due to the fact it was gone 9pm, however they did warm to us as the evening... More

A great dinner for 4, not too expensive by Zermatt standards. The chateaubriand was so tender it just melted in the mouth and had a beautiful flavour served with 3 excellent sauces. The crepes Suzette was a delight and one of our party had the chocolate bombe with caramel inside ice cream covered in chocolate and nuts which was pronounced... More

What a phenomenal owner who not only ensured we had a delicious meal with attentive service, but he also took the time to tell us about Zermatt history as well as got out a map to show us how to drive to our next stop in Switzerland. Love the chocolate fondue!

We had a family dinner at Spycher on our first night in Zermatt. We had a lovely round table. The lights in the restaurant were a bit bright but they turned them down for us. The service was excellent, food was wonderful. All in all a great meal.

Luckily for us, that even though the restaurant was fairly full and that we arrived without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table in the back room, which was just as comfortable as the main restaurant. All the staff are effortlessly efficient, showing Swiss service at its best. Water and your drinks arrive almost immediately, your... More

We walked in without a reservation on a Friday night and they fit us in at a nice table. We had the Chateaubriand Flambe for 2, and lamb dumpling soup. I honestly could hardly tell any difference in taste in the meat due to the flambe procedure, but it certainly made for a good table side show, and it was... More

Have been here 3 times in the last 3 years and each time we have eaten in the Spycher we have enjoyed fabulous quality food, imaginatively presented and served by lovely attentive staff. Miguel, in particular, deserves a special mention for his professionalism and humour. The owners of the hotel also help out in the restaurant and go out of... More
