Not the ice chalet style but upmarket with great food. Very warm and friendly staff and mystique view. I will always stay here for a meal and I will always do.

We had lunch here in March 2012. Our salads were great, as was the service and view of the mountains. It was expensive, though, but worth the splurge.

It was a long time ago, still have a good impression of all. wil return.

If you ever go to Zermatt, the terrace of the Riffelalp Hotel is 'the' place to eat. It has one of the best views of the Matterhorn and offers the comfort that every skier yearns for after a long day of skiing. The service was very attentive and pleasant. Nota bene that the prices are pretty high, even for Switzerland.
