Had dinner at this restaurant for our final night in Zermatt. Food was good along with the service. Interesting to watch the meat cooking over an open flame in the middle of the restaurant. I had the steak which was OK. Friends had the ginger chicken was excellent along with the seafood spaghetti (chewy but tasty).

We ordered roast lamb for two, which came with salad before the meal, rosti and vegetables on the plate with delicious lamb slices. When we were served, we were told there was more meat that would be brought when we were ready. Well, not only did we get more meat, we got a duplicate meal - vegetables too! And it... More

Here we had our dinner on national Suisse Day - 1st August. Restaurant was full but everything was perfect. Suisse food - rösti, fondue, raclette. Very nice staff - especially the Portuguese lady! Really enjoyed this Suisse night.

Had a fun dinner of fondue chinoise which is beef fondue but cooked in broth not oil. The meat quality was super lean and very good. They give you about 8-10 different sauces for dipping plus a choice of potatoes on the side. All very tasty and a lovely waitress to boot. The only downside is the price which is... More

Wish we had found this on the first night of a week's stay - would have been back every other night. Really good food - the best - and service with a smile by people who were pleased to see you and serve you. It is almost worth returning to Zermatt just for this restaurant alone!

The wood grill, built by the owner's grandfather, combined with the freshest and best meat the area has to offer make for an unforgettable dinner. After 12 visits and no disappointment I can assure you that you will love this place.

We recently stayed at the Europe Hotel and Spa and decided to dine at the Stockhorn Grill (located just across the street) on Easter Sunday. Unlike many others places, it wasn't necessary to make a reservation, which was how we ended up here. I ordered the salad with nuts, grapes and goat cheese as a starter. The portion was large,... Lovely friendly service. Very cosy restaurant & excellent food. We were in a group of six & all had beef fondue - lots of sauces and extras included in price.

We were looking forward to going to this resturant for its Steaks. Disappointed it was not cooked to our exact request. We also overheard the table next to us, request the steak to be re-Grilled. However the scallop starter was very good. I felt the staff lacked ATD(attention to deatil). What a shame. Not sure if we will ever go... More
