I had lunch at Omnia after hiking. The entrance to the hotel is already fabulous. You go through this kind of mountain tunnel and then get an elevator up to the hotel. The service at the hotel was extraordinary friendly. The gave us a wonderful table on the terrace. You have a few of the village and it's totally peaceful.... More

Pricy but worth it.The staff, who are fluent in many languages, give a detailed account on what is on offer and wear white gloves to set with the fine bone china from Germany. Truffles are a real treat and the selection catered for all my family including the vegetarians. the ambience was quaint and the view quite pretty.

Minimalistic luxury - This gorgeous restaurant inside the Omnia hotel was an unforgettable culinary experience. The setting resembles a distinctly artistic living room of a 'friends' chalet overlooking the snow capped mountains in the distance. Service was impeccable and humble and the molecular gastronomy menu had us spoilt forever.

The best and finest in Zermatt . It made our last evening in Zermatt very special. The various surprise courses and experiments of molecular gastronomy are delicious specially foam muesli. Steak is literally like it melts in your mouth. Their representation of tiramisu a must to have. The butter platter and bread selection included truffle butter with octopus bread, a... More

I went there on my own for a very spontaneous (and very unprepared) dinner to kill some time before friends were arriving at Zermatt. The restaurant was recommended to me but I did not do any diligence (other than taking a brief look at the menu on their website and spotting a Wiener Schnitzel). What followed was an evening full... This restaurant is a big-city 5-star dining experience relocated into the Alps. No menu choice will be quite what you expected - and I mean that in a good way! So go in with an open mind, and if you enjoy food you'll be delighted. If you want fondue and grilled lamb, go somewhere else. A few things to note:... More

Went for a romantic dinner and had the perfect dinner experience. Fantastic variations on classic dishes with the G&T nitro sauce on oysters the highlight. Great service and stunning decor. Strongly recommend this for those special occasions. Martin the MD will make you very welcome.

What I liked (a lot): a) amazing food - will be soon an at least 17 points gault millau restaurant and will certainly also get a Michelin Star. The new chef is briliant and brings a lot of joy, creativity and saviour to the plates. I had the feeling that he might have been at the Dolder in Zurich before... More
