Culinary Delight

Beautiful presentation of each dinner course and a must if you stay in Zermatt. Service was above and beyond. Be sure to make reservations well in advance.

Dined at the Omnia on the last night of a week's hiking and eating, and was simply the best meal I've had in Zermatt. My companion mixed and matched across the various tasting menus, whilst I ordered from the a la carte (I was craving a schnitzel). Just the bread selection blew us away, with a herb sponge being a... We had drinks and lunch, sitting outside and enjoying an unbelievable view of all of Zermatt and the spectacular Matterhorn. You can either walk up to the hotel/ restaurant or take the Disneyworld-like elevator from the lower lobby.

We had a FABULOUS meal here. Loved this place right from the beginning when you try to find it! Go off the main street into a dungeon like tunnel complete with candle lighting and into a lift where you're whisked up 5 floors or so to beautiful views over Zermatt. The restaurant is really different from the traditional swiss style... More

I had lunch at Omnia after hiking. The entrance to the hotel is already fabulous. You go through this kind of mountain tunnel and then get an elevator up to the hotel. The service at the hotel was extraordinary friendly. The gave us a wonderful table on the terrace. You have a few of the village and it's totally peaceful.... More

Pricy but worth it.The staff, who are fluent in many languages, give a detailed account on what is on offer and wear white gloves to set with the fine bone china from Germany. Truffles are a real treat and the selection catered for all my family including the vegetarians. the ambience was quaint and the view quite pretty.

Minimalistic luxury - This gorgeous restaurant inside the Omnia hotel was an unforgettable culinary experience. The setting resembles a distinctly artistic living room of a 'friends' chalet overlooking the snow capped mountains in the distance. Service was impeccable and humble and the molecular gastronomy menu had us spoilt forever.

The best and finest in Zermatt . It made our last evening in Zermatt very special. The various surprise courses and experiments of molecular gastronomy are delicious specially foam muesli. Steak is literally like it melts in your mouth. Their representation of tiramisu a must to have. The butter platter and bread selection included truffle butter with octopus bread, a... More
