Always reliable and open for lunch and dinner. Seating mainly at long, shared tables, which is most convivial. Don't go there seeking a leisurely meal if you don't book and are lucky to get a place; tables are in demand and turnover is encouraged. Good advice is to make that call first. Skilled waiters point out and describe the day's... More

Excellent freshly cooked food from a small menu (on blackboards). Prompt, efficient service. Very good selection of wines by the glass or bottle as one would expect - this is after all a wine bar that serves food rather than a restaurant Our lack of Italian was not a problem as most waiters/waitresses spoke decent English

Excellent small restaurant in Lugano. As the name suggest the focus is on the wine choice with some really superb Italina wines on the list. The menu is short and the quality outstanding, the service is friendly and excellent. I would definitely go there again and highlt recommend it.

Excellent. Set menu, but staff can accommodate your wishes. Good selection of wines by the glass, no need to order by the bottle....try several. If lactose intolerant, several choices, from shrimp, beef, dried meat antipasto, etc. Best meal I has all week!!!!

Menus varies, but always good and well prepared. Great wine selection. In the center of town. Most of the time you need reservations. Friendy staff!

Excellent casual Italian food near the center of town. Recommended by the owners of our albergo and we found exactly as promised a limited menu of perfectly prepared dishes. My orecchiette with scallops in a saffron cream sauce was creative and I ate every bite. Extensive wine list for a small restaurant, which was arranged by countries and regions. Sit... More

My wife enjoyed the local lake fish, my pasta dish too al dente. Salads were the best we had though in Lugano. Nice bread selection.

This is a small, family owned Italian restaurant. Not many tables so reservations are a must. They have only a handful of starters and main courses, changed by day and season. A great selection of wines and knowledgeable waiters. my best advice is simply to talk to them about your favorite food and wine preferences and I'm confident that you'll... More

Highly recommended, food choice seems limited to a few choices per day but all are fabulous. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The pasta with octopus was stunning as was the swordfish. Beware the bruschetta - the portion size is huge and sufficient for at least two ! Wine selection was very impressive, the recommended local merlot a perfect partner.... More
