Nice restaurant

Quite a big restaurant but the food was good regardless. The waiter was a bit distant but then we didn't mind so much.

The service wasn't friendly at all. Even if the choice on the card looked great, we couldn't finish the two starters due the bad food quality. For the main dish, the polenta wasn't tasty at all and the pizza was ok but nogthing more.

We took a daytrip to Lugano and decided to visit this Restaurant, which we didn't know. Reception and placing quickly inspite of high noon. Beverages in a jiffy. My wife had an excellent Pizza. I had a Minestrone first, lots of vegetables, could have been a little bit spicier. The penne (Pasta like tubes) al dente with lots of funghi... More

a late lunch and a limited menu (so what?) we loved every mouthful served by a fine waiter who was patient and very helpful. My pizza was still sizzling minutes after it arrived and the crust was crunchy like Seabrooks Ridged Crisps! Mrs D had the spaghetti pomodoro, but it was too much for one, i had to help out.... To be honest, we chose this because they had a special on, all pizzas for 14.50. I think it was Tuesday night. So perhaps I shouldn't complain that the pizza wasn't that tasty, and the service lack lustre. We moved inside from the rain, and were seated near the kitchen door, though we could have insisted on a better table.... More

I've visited it twice this week. Both times food and service irreproachable. Service friendly and even was served before opening hours. A place to return to.

In a central position at the bottom of funicular from the station. Sat in the smaller side of the restaurant. All the tables were taken. Only 1 gentleman was waiting on and he was also serving the inside tables. Food was tasty when it came. Price was fine and no more expensive than other similar restaurants. Have eaten there before.

Ordered the gnocchi and salmon taglietti. It was quite salty and dry. Priced at 18-21 francs per dish which was expensive for something that did not taste great. I would't go back. Service was not great either and they only had a few customers.

The restaurant is in a busy area and attracts a lot of tourists. I was in hurry so I ordered two pizza and wanted to take them back to hotel. Then i waited for over an hour for them! I rushed the waiter a few times and he says"too many customers, sorry" every time. I looked around, half of the... More

The place has a vast outdoor area and it is on a good central location so it is obvious it attracts many tourists, especially during the summer, but my advice is to avoid it due to terrible service! The atmosphere is nice on a warm summer evening and the food is average, but i dont remember the last time ive experience such...
