This place is great fun and good food! Still expencive for many but sure a goot deal for St. Moritz! Fun for long dinner with music or after dinner drink. Crowded in high season and weekends, must phone in advance! ( I would say no kids... or older then 12)

Average food for a serious price and outpriced wines. Still, after having visited Baracca for a consecutive 5 years we see the place get more crowded. Seats and tables are so close you can't have a decent seating anymore. You sit shoulder to shoulder, in double rows and the place is so packed that I'm sure they're way over safety-limits.... More

We visited over the White Turf weekend and it was packed! Reservations recommended. The restaurant is an old barracks and decor is basic. You have to share trestle tables (don’t expect table linen!) but good hearty food and great service. What is wonderful is the relaxed atmosphere with dancing on the tables most nights! A great place to spend the... More

Right at the bottom at Corvigliastation, on the Parking lot, there is a little place to have a beer or “vin chaud“ after a long day of skiing, if you feel like warming up. It’s for everyone: young/old/ sporty and nice people. Even many locals are eating there. The food is really good (local and fresh), but a little expensive... More

If you are not afraid of noise, of a crowd, of waiting for your table in the middle of beautiful people, but care for a relaxed delicious dinner in an unpretentious place in otherwise snobbish st. moritz, go to La Baracca. Situated in st Moritz bad, in wooden house where waiters struggle between tables never losing their smiles, with the... More

This place is fantastic for a large group or party. Everyone sits like in the baracks, on long tables and long benches, sharing tables if you're not enough to get a big table yourself. It's very loud, very messy and very very packed. However the food is excellent, the atmosphere is very funny thus making the long barack room incredibly... More

It is a restaurant located in the old barrack. It is definitely not a very elegant place but it is original and it has a nice atmosphere. There is no real menu. You normally what what is served that day but the food is really tasty. Sometimes there is live music.

This place is a gem! You must go here. We were told to go there by a friend who had previously visited. The location was pretty far from where we were staying (we stayed in the city center and La Baracca is down at the bottom of the mountain). It is a short cab ride but not walk-able. The smell... On a side of a parking lot at the outskirts of St Moritz, this place offers a casual rustic ambience denying the all so present glamour of St Moritz. Yet the food is great and experimental, hearty and tasty portions make sure that no one goes hungry. The only real negative is the service, they could really hire a few... More
