Wonderful day on skis with Kids

I stopped by at the Hörnli Hütte with my two kinds (6 and 8 yrs) to have something to drink and eat a few days before Xmas. Due to the temperatures we sat outside on the terrace - the view is simply great - on this wonderful day - it took some time to get served but I guess these... read more

What a splurge! We spent the night in the hut, had a most delcious dinner with a perfect service in a cozy setting. Next morning breakfast with fresh bread before hitting the slopes before anybody else. Could not have been better.

Great place for a break from skiing with a fantastic view. Right on top of Hörnli. And good food, too.

We always enjoyed the real Arsoa atmosphere inn the Hornli Hutte. Wonderfull place and location. In 2015 new owners......... Things changed, not always for the better. We dont need 'Sankt Mortiz' style in Arosa: lounging, stylish blankets and 'abercromby and fitch style' young men with gelly hear. We prefered the rugged, honest mountaineers serving good mountain food. Reservations are now... More

Normally a bit wary of restaurants with great views, this place is a pleasant surprise. Our lunch experience on the piste was a step above the rest. Traditional fare, but cooked fresh and with local ingredients. We ordered the fries upon recommendation by the others at the table. Exceptional. Gerstensuppe was very nice as well, not as gooey as the... More

We had a so so experience here. After being abruptly told by one waiter to 'wait over there' when we asked if there was any available tables, we then approached another staff member who kindly showed us to an available table less than a metre away where we were standing. The menu isn't in English so we asked for a... More

A short walk up from the Hornli Express the location of this restaurant is awesome. Food is great and the service fantastic. If the weather is clear you can enjoy fantastic views to both sides of the mountain.

We had lunch at the Hornlihutte during our ski trip to Arosa. What looked like a promising lunch vsit turned out to become nothing but a long, long wait... While the food that arrived was delicious - a soup and a salad, the famous grilled chicken first didn't arrive for about 45 minutes and then, when it finally was served... More

Nice location but unable to cope with high demands of ski lunch. The word mayhem comes to mind. Ordered waited 1.5 hours ( got our drinks after chasing) then low and behold the food order was forgotten. Not apologetic just too stressed and unable to cope. This was a Saturday so maybe it's better in the week. Visit Weisshorn instead... More

Nice food and fabulous view. Good place to rest after hiking. The Hornli Express can take you back to Arosa since he's operational during summertime.
