We were absolutely blown away by the uniqueness if this boutique style hotel. Quite simply one of the most stunning locations in the alps, this hotel is run with bags of style by a charming couple who are hands on, extremely helpful and caring towards their guests. The food is delicious, on a parr with what I can get in... More

Let me start by saying that this is one of my favourite lunchtime venues in the Alps. To sit outside on a sunny day looking at the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau while enjoying a bottle of Pouilly Fume is as good as it gets. A warm and welcoming retreat with delicious home baking and hot chocolate in a traditional setting. Large slices of Rhubarb or Apricot tart will encourage you to keep you picnic in your rucksack. Paul can also provide information on the latest sightings of Ibex and Chamois, both of which we saw on the spectacular slopes opposite his terrace.

This small summertime cafe is always our first port of call when walking in the Jungfrau area. It is run by an energetic and friendly guy called Paul, all the food is prepared on site and is delicious. Eating his home made fruit tarts are melt in the mouth experiences, we have never found them bettered, that seems to be... More
