Super Rösti

A restaurant with a great atmosphere. The restaurant was full when I came but I got a place around the fire, which was nice. The staff was nice and friendly. The rösti dishes are apparently famous and the rösti-lachstartar that I had was not exception. The taste was superb, the drawback was that it... read more

I always love eating here although can't afford to too often. They do very good food and my Personal opinion the best rueblitorte (carrot cake) in the world. :-) I highly recommend visiting even just for rueblitorte and hot chocolate!!! But also all the food.

We were absolutely blown away by the uniqueness if this boutique style hotel. Quite simply one of the most stunning locations in the alps, this hotel is run with bags of style by a charming couple who are hands on, extremely helpful and caring towards their guests. The food is delicious, on a parr with what I can get in... More

Let me start by saying that this is one of my favourite lunchtime venues in the Alps. To sit outside on a sunny day looking at the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau while enjoying a bottle of Pouilly Fume is as good as it gets. The menu is a little limited but the food is more than acceptable and... More

As soon as we knew there was a sunny day in the week ahead we booked a table on the sun deck. After a 15 minute wait we were seated then waited 20 minutes before asking for water, menus etc. The waiter was hugely grumpy and huffed at having to get the menus, he then wouldn't translated the german menus... A warm and welcoming retreat with delicious home baking and hot chocolate in a traditional setting. Large slices of Rhubarb or Apricot tart will encourage you to keep you picnic in your rucksack. Paul can also provide information on the latest sightings of Ibex and Chamois, both of which we saw on the spectacular slopes opposite his terrace.

This small summertime cafe is always our first port of call when walking in the Jungfrau area. It is run by an energetic and friendly guy called Paul, all the food is prepared on site and is delicious. Eating his home made fruit tarts are melt in the mouth experiences, we have never found them bettered, that seems to be... More
