Description: Restaurant Caprice is in Hotel Caprice, Wengen, Switzerland, where Michelin Star trained Executive Chef John Patrick de Ruiter and his team welcomes hotel residents and non residents alike for lunch and dinner. We have an a la Carte menu, which features a choice of 5 starters, 4 salads and soups, 6 main courses including fish and vegetarian options, 3 deserts and a Regional cheese board. The Wine Carte features a large number of Swiss Red, White and Rose wines, amongst an interesting International collection. There is also a 3 course menu which changes daily, available for 49 Swiss Francs ($54), with a substantial reduction for Hotel Caprice residents. We stayed in Wengen 4 days and we had 2 dinners here. Frankly it would have beaten the No.1 restaurant in TA ranking in Wengen hands down. The chef is exceptional, creative, colourful textures and wonderful tastes. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The friendly and professional staff together with the wonderful view all add to the magical experience. We would definitely recommend The Caprice Hotel to anyone.

We ate dinner twice in the Caprice restaurant whilst staying for a week in Wengen. The set dinner options were good value with a good balanced variety of food choices. The lamb main course being the highlight. Matched with the wine recommendations the restaurant is an excellent option for an upmarket dinner in Wengen.

We had dinner twice at the Caprice restaurant mainly because we liked it a lot the first night. The food was very good and the service was excellent! Definitely good value for money considering Switzerland is expensive!
