We saw an ad for an Asian Style Taste of Switzerland meal for two for 84 Swiss Francs, including two glasses of wine and a half liter of water. Given Swiss restaurant prices, this sounded a little too good to be true, but indeed, that was the correct price, made possible by small serving sizes. The meal consisted of green... More

This place really makes Faulty Towers look rather good ! Whilst the food is for the most part passable , the ridiculously inept service takes the whole experience down to quite miserable depths. In addition no effort at all seems to have been made to decorate the room in an appropriate manner so as to lift it out of its... More

If you liked the hotel in, "The Shining," but thought it had too much style, this is the place for you. Ugh. Words cannot describe the misery. The decor is a disaster, there are screaming children everywhere, the owner demanded to know why we asked for oil and vinegar, the bread is bad, in a country of amazing bread, and... More

A wonderfully romantic spot, with a non-rushed atmosphere and incredible views into the valley. Terrific food served as a price-fixed multi-course meal. Our waiter was a bit timid, and occasionally inattentive, and I didn't understand how they could charge me 8 Francs for still water, and then not allow me to keep the bottle.

Had dinner here on our last night in Wengen. Given a nice table with a great view. Food was excellent and waiter was very friendly. Owner came over. made us feel very welcome and told us about his hotel and the town, Nice touch. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

On our recent week-long stay at Hotel Regina, we took three of our evening meals at Jack's Brasserie. We were very happy with our meals and presentation. The meat dishes were cooked perfectly with interesting side dish pairings. One night, I was in the mood for a simple pasta dish and was very happy to see that it compared quite... More

The hotel was built a hundred years ago and you can only imagine what it must have been like to visit the hotel while eating breakfast or dinner in this beautiful room

We recently spent a couple of nights in Wengen (Hotel Caprice which was an excellent choice for sleeping) and after the half board at the Caprice (which was disappointing), we wanted to try something different so we went to Jack's Brasserie. Jack's is directly across from the Caprice and uphill so it is an easy journey across the cog railway... More

We were on half board staying at hotel, food was good, and if anyone didn't fancy something they were very accommodating to make sure you got something you liked.

My wife, son, and I had dinner here in late May 2012. The cuisine does have traditional Swiss dishes, but is more continental than most other places. The retaurant's setting includes large picture windows that overlook the Wengen plateau and the magnificent Lauterbrunnen Valley. The food and the service were excellent and the price was reasonable for a fine-dining establishment.... More
