We wandered down here from the Rotstockehutte, a great walk mostly down hill. We were the only guests at this hotel and were very well looked after. My wife and I took the funicular to Allmendhuber up from Murren. We then walked down. The time was perfect to stop for lunch at Sonnenberg. We were the only people eating there, and the food was excellent. The couple running the pension were very pleasant. I would highly recommend this stop while out hiking. It sits at a cross... More

Hiking down the trial from the cable railway above Murren, we happened upon this haven for weary travellers. We were greeted by our friendly waiter Chris, who explained the menu and took our orders.
