Stumbled upon this casual restaurant in Murren on our way down from Schilthorn and the food was really good although we had a simple lunch. Ordered fried rice, dumpling soup and tomyam soup and all the dishes were freshly and well-prepared. The owner/chef was a fellow Singaporean and it is always a pleasure to taste good Singaporean dishes overseas, especially... More

First, Murren has only 300+ pax and the residents all know each other. The lady up in the schilthorn told me about Tham's restuarant and my friends and I decided to give it a go. We started with very simple dish, Wanton soup , Tom Yam Soup and a beef fried rice and fried noodle. Both soups are amazing, and... More

Yummy and authentic. The owner prepares the dishes fresh right in front of you and was very accommodating. Large menu and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Would go back again!

Stopped here on a rainy first night in Murren. The aroma when we walked in was heaven. It was difficult to decide what to have but friendly Mr. Tham helped us navigate the menu. He was also the chef. The spring roll was fresh with a delicate blend of spice. My husband had schezuan duck with some nice crispy skin... More

This is good if you want something a little different in Murren. Prices are good (relative to other restaurants in town) and the service is fast and friendly. Beware, that they only take cash, but it can be in Swiss Francs, Euros or Dollars

The spring rolls were the best we have ever had. The sweer and sour chicken was also terrific. Great chinese food by a skilled chef.

This was my third visit to Murren and third visit to this restaurant. The food is tasty and satisfying. It feels good to sit down to warm and spicy food after experiencing the cold weather outside. On our first visit, we had reached Murren pretty late and almost all restaurants had stopped serving dinner. The receptionist at our hotel recommended... More

Maybe they were having an off night. The black pepper beef was so salty, we couldn't eat it. Shrimp dumplings really overcooked and rubbery inside. Wok fried noodles with vegetables was equally uninspired. It wasn't bad - just sort of average. I wanted to give it another go, but, thought we'd better stick with Ema's place at the Eiger Guesthouse... More
