Maybe they were having an off night. The black pepper beef was so salty, we couldn't eat it. Shrimp dumplings really overcooked and rubbery inside. Wok fried noodles with vegetables was equally uninspired. It wasn't bad - just sort of average. I wanted to give it another go, but, thought we'd better stick with Ema's place at the Eiger Guesthouse... More

We arrived in Mürren rather late and after putting our luggage into our hotel rooms, by the time we headed out for dinner, almost all restaurants had stop serving. Luckily we went to Tham and even though it was very late, the lovely couple that runs this place welcomed us. We had been traveling all day and so were very... More

Really delicious food, and a good representation of a couple different Asian cuisines. We had the green curry chicken (subtle but very good) and the black bean chicken (really really good, so long as you like that salty black bean flavor). Veggies are fresh and they use a good amount of meat in the dish. Portions are suitable for one... More

Mr. Tham and his wife provided a wonderful surprise for me and my Chinese wife during our visit to Murren. Singapore mai fun (noodles) and beef soup were delicious. Hosts are gracious. Thanks for the good meals!

Had a really lovely meal from here. Everything we had tasted delicious. It was all piping hot despite the walk back home in bad weather. It was quite pricey but everywhere is because of the cost of getting supplies up the mountain. My sister had a sit-in meal and also really enjoyed it.

The food is average at best! We ordered some chopped noodles with chicken and an chopped noodles with schrimps, however, the taste was just average at best... and the quantity on the lesser side.

We have been here for three nights and have eaten here twice! The food is hot and delicious. The first night we were in town it was pouring rain and cold. This place hit the spot. We shared the beef with vegetables and the pork fried rice...both were excellent! Much less greasy than the Chinese food in most Americanized places... More

It is very cold outside and you are walking down the Murren Station to your apartment, it is difficult to pass by Tham without stopping for a hot, Tom Yum Soup, steaming egg fried rice and a very warm smile. Run by a Singaporean family that has made Murren their home - Tham remains their little bit of Singapore in... More

After a week in Switzerland we were really craving more vegetables and I needed something spicy! We ordered the Tom Yum soup (spicy) and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, and had generous amounts of mushroom, bamboo shoots, and chicken. The flavor was spot on. We also ordered the green curry chicken and the chicken with vegetables. Both were... More
