I was put in contact with this restaurant to help organize a "Fondue Plausch" for 35 people as part of an evening's entertainment for a business event. The restaurant made a very acceptable offer with a variety of alternative menus. On the evening concerned, all went extremely well to the great satisfaction of everyone present. Good food, good atmosphere and... More

We were looking for a restaurant to enjoy dinner on a Sunday night and this restaurant looked busier than it's competition. The interior decor is typically Swiss in style and the menu was varied. We enjoyed a starter each (salad & onion soup) then shared the beef fondue (cooked in hot oil) served with fries, rice, various sauces & side... More

We went to this restaurant after checking the reviews on tripadvisor but honestly I found it very average. The service was excellent and one of the waitress was very nice in service. We ordered the Onion Soup which was brilliantly made. The raclet was above average but the biggest disappointment was the cheese fondue.I have had better fondues in the past and this... We ordered the cheese fondue for two. This is Switzerland, after all. It was very good and well presented. I took a peek at what some other guests were having and the portions appeared generous and it all looked pretty good. Our waitress was fantastic. This place is very popular so get there early. The dessert menu appeared very dated... More

Poor quality food, the French fries were full of oil and over cooked. The steak was tasteless and the fish was soggy. Not good quality and very expensive for what we got

My family of six was en-route from Zurich, Switzerland to Dijon, France and decided to visit Interlaken. While in Switzerland we decided it would be a good idea to try fondue so we chose Chalet for lunch. While my husband and I had eaten and prepared fondue years ago when it was popular in the US, our son, daughter-in-law and... More

When in Switzerland one must have one Fondue. At this restaurant there were many Swiss dishes on the menu. As well as Cheese Fondue there was Raclette and Boniger Sausage. Also local entertainment the horns and the spoons all added to a fun evening.
