Husband and I ate here for lunch. Nice fresh food, and I would like to try their dinner menu some evening. Service was ok....
Quite good I must say. We had a nice dinner outside. Quality of food is good, well perpared. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Just a smal example, it was my mothers birthday and my handy was dead., So I asked if I could use their business phone to call my mother in Holland. No problem at all and when... More
They were very rude, arrogant staff. They made us wait so long standing on the queue (they dont serve on the tables)They didnt have what we wanted, we order somethingelse and they gave us the wrong stuff, with no apologize. They didnt correct their mistakes. They treated us as terrorists. Definitely not going back!
Stopped for lunch on a Monday when many other restaurants were closed. Two couples. Two medium focaccia sandwiches, one large salad, and one soup = 60 SwissF...a bit expensive, but the food is so good, it's worth it. For the sandwiches, you stand in front of a counter and order from a very appetizing selection of ingredients. I'd like to... More
Fantastic quality at a very decent price for Switzerland. A sandwich which was enough for dinner and a big beer 20 CHF.

The way it works... More
Foccacias are very tasty, you can order a medium (around 10Fr) on its own or quite often I order a small one with a small soup as well. The olive pesto or nut pesto are both delicious. The place can get very busy around lunchtime so get here early or you can always order to take out.
Focacceria is located right at the heart of St.Gallen, very close to Marktplatz, in a tiny and quiet corner. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the waiters are nice and helpful. Regarding the food... it's amazing. Very good italian focaccia and high quality ingredients mixed with creativity make this place a "must" not only for a quick snack, but also... More
The focaccia prices are maybe 1 or 2 Frannks too expensive, yet they taste extreeemely good, so it's hard to stop grabing a focaccia sandwich over there! The antipasti look nice also, still they are too expensive in my opinion.. At least for students and others who cant pay 25-30.- for lunch... Still, thanks flor existing and cooking us these... More
