Excellent service and very friendly staff. Good location, lovely place for a romantic dinner. I recommend it !
My husband found this restaurant and decided to try it because the location was walking distance from our hotel. The food was well prepared and presented beautifully. We ordered a beef filet that you could cut with a butter knife. The service was above and beyond the norm. Although pricey, I felt like it was money well spent.
Great food in a small square below the castle. Service was very good and friendly. Dined here twice in a five day stay.
Visiting friends for coffee on a Saturday morning, they (being locals) suggested we have lunch at Le Banneret- stating that this is the best Italian restaurant in Neuch. Well, they were right. The owner/matron suggested sauted Chanterelles mushroom ('arrived this morning') and I followed with a veal piccata. Simple yet fresh and flavorful dishes washed down with a house wine... More
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Le Banneret - we sat outside in the cobbled courtyard and found it really charming. Our waitress was lovely, very friendly and the food was excellent! You definitely need to reserve - they were having to turn away people who hadnt - especially if you would like to sit outside.
Set in a beautiful building in the historical centre of Neuchatel. On the expensive side and the service is attentive but quite formal. The atmosphere was a little crowded as the restaurant is very small, but the food was very good and presented well. I wouldn't go there with children. Staff should learn to smile a little too...
The best table bar none regarding location, decor, service and consistency of great tasting Italian food. Angelo and his team make the best pasta (try the degustation de pates and especially the taglierini au citron and the caramelle) and provide a wonderful culinary experience. In the summer, opt for the outdoor seating on the cobblestones rather than the main dining... More
The food here is top notch, one of my favorite restaurants in Neuchatel. I love the carpaccio, risotto and veal. The spicy pasta is great too and don't forget the Tirmasu!
I really recommend this fantastic Italian Restaurant (must go on first floor, not down-stair)! The food is amazing, a little bit expensive but so great! The pasta is home-made and is a must-to-eat! The carpaccio di tonno is marvellous! The meat is very well cooked! The only negative point was the risotto which is not well prepared!
