This place that you have to find being in the alley behind the river front hotels (such as Pickwick and des Alpes) is a gem. The atmosphere is excellent, the service far better than most European restaurants; and the pizza was great. We didn't have nor need a reservation but this was in mid September, not high season and it... More

The best restaurant in Switzerland so far, we had Pitza and couldn't get enough of it. Also their risotto is delicious.on top of all this, their hospitality is amazing and the waiter was so friendly and smiling all the time. Very friendly environment and best restaurant ever, highly recommended

As our 14-year old daughter does not have the most adventurous palate, we often avoid high-end gourmet spots and find our way to Italian restaurants. We were referred here by the staff at the Montana Hotel, and they nailed it. The place was fantastic. I had a chef special called tagliatelle verde that included salmon, mushrooms and zucchini. Excellent. My... More

It's exhausting at times to be a tourist. Much as I love it, and I do, nothing I'd rather do in fact, if you really work to see as much of a place as you can, travel can do you in! I had but one day to see lovely Lucerne - and a lovely day I had to see it,... More

Is out first dinner in Lucern. Full housr, service crew full of experience, food is fantastic especially their mushroom sauce base pasta... but somehow, we didn't get their attention throughout the dinner, since we settled down, no menu for a good 10 mins. Maybe we are the only Asian table.

This Italian restaurant was full and busy. The food was excellent. I had the seafood salad appetizer which was fresh, delicious and loaded with seafood. The spaghetti carbonara was rich and yummy. It was full of bacon and cream. I suggest you share it. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We have had pizza all over Switzerland and Italy and this is one of the best thin crust pizzas out there. Friendly staff ,but beware this place can fill up quickly and you might want to make reservations.

We walked around Old Town Lucerne hunting for a place to eat dinner. Many places along the lake were very very expensive. By accident we walked up to this place (after seeing another place, but it had no patrons and Trip Advisor reviews were all over the map). This restaurant was full of people, so we thought they can't all... More

Fun spot in which to dine, while in Lucerne! The Weissen Kreuz ("white cross") has a very long history, which is outlined in the menu. I ordered a seafood salad, which actually had very little seafood & LOT's of seafood (octopus, squid, etc.) & was delicious! The service was friendly & efficient, which isn't always the case in a busy touristy... More

While traversing in Luzern with our kids and our visiting neice we stumbled upon this restaurant down a little side street. We are very glad we did. It was like visiting home. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasing. The food was very good and the service, shared accross many staff, left nothing for want. The value was good too.
