It is a historical restaurant in Luzern. We go there at 6:30pm but it is full table already. It is glad to read comment from TA and book a table a day advance. My wife ordered a Spring menu, it is fully cover its good food here, and it is worth. 3 courses cost only 82sf. And i, order the... More

we went here for dinner tonight and although the staff were helpful an friendly, we will not be eating here again. the food was ridiculously overpriced (think 40-60 francs for a main) and really was not worth it. The menu was outdated with items such as shrimp cocktails and beef stroganoff. I'd totally avoid unless you have cash to burn.... More

Very nice restaurant, food and service were very good. A friend we were with has many dietary restrictions and they were extremely good in meeting her needs and yet giving her a very good meal.

We stopped at here for drinks on our way back from the Lion Monument. Our server was a very friendly gal who suggested we come back for dinner. We asked about their specialty and she said "The Schnitzel!" As other reviews mention, they cook the very thin veal at your table using copius amounts of butter. <<About 1/4# per person!>>... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews we saw knowing it was touristy. The highlight was having the schnitzel cooked right at our tableside and watching them use about 2 pounds of butter to prepare it. They really don't need to have the waitresses dressed in the garb because the food is really the highlight. It gives it... More

Old Swiss House looks fantastic both from the exterior and interior. You get a sense of history just visiting the place. The staff are dressed in authentic Swiss clothing and the food is excellent. I had the Pike Perch which cost about 49 franc. The fish is tender and we were told that it is freshly caught at the Lake... More

The wild garlic soup and asparagus were to die for as was the homemade tomato sauce they served with the roesti. A little disappointed with the potato gratin but that may be because we had eaten here 4 years ago and we're attempting to relive the flavour we had last time but the chef had changed. The server could have... More

Loved The Old Swiss House! Was Hesitate about it being touristy at first - and even though a lot of people go there, the schnitzel and chocolate mouse were worth it! Good wine too!

The place is pretty fancy, love the décor and the ambience. The food was well presented and taste was good. Their lobster bisque with cognac was especially nice. The experience of watching the server making the wiener schnitzel in front of you was interesting although there's not anything special to say about the flavour. When the waitress came to clear...
