We expected it to be good. But may be the best Italian Dinner I have ever had. The staff and owner were very gracious and attentive to every need. GO HERE. It is fantastic.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. It is on the shore of the lake, and is part of the Grand Hotel National - the entrance is at the city end of the hotel. The owner/manager is very hands on and welcoming, and available for recommendations. As well as the standard a la carte menu, there was a variety... More

I was in lucern for a day, and lucky i stopped by at the best restaurant i've ate in my 15 days trip in Europe... Just order the spaghetti al padrino, the menu says " let your self be surprised" and you will! Better than everything i tried in Italy! Im willing to catch a fly tomorrow just for that... More

My wife and I stopped her because it looked inviting. She was eager to try some pasta and I wanted meat, so this place seemed to fit our needs. The pasta she got wasn't any better than canned pasta you get at a grocery store in the US and my veal had little taste and wasn't tender. I would not... More

very good service and a variety of menu options considering the generally expensive nature of Lucerne this restaurant was not outrageous from a cost perspective

The host was excellent I think he is the owner. He gave great recommendations for the best plates. Coupled with nice weather around May, the pleasant scenery of Lake Lucerne and the classic band playing on the sidewalk, it was an overall great experience.

This Italian restaurant, almost always full of happy diners, and perfectly positioned beside Lake Lucerne in the city centre, specializes in freshly-cooked dishes. You may wait a few minutes more than you had expected, but the wait is well worthwhile -- exquisite pasta, with ravioli outstanding, as well as miraculously fresh seafood (try the anchovies if they are available).

We were slightly intimidated by a stiff and formal air to this place when we first arrived having made a booking earlier in the day. This soon gave way to a more relaxed and very pleasant dining experience with first class food and friendly, helpful service. We took daily specials and were not disappointed; home made duck pâté was superb... More

This restaurant faces the lake as is in a large hotel. The cuisine is Itailian and the owner takes your order. The food is great and the service outstanding. The "surprise"pasta may have been one of the best things I have ever tasted. Wish I lived next store to this restaurant.

The food was wonderful, but we ordered a pasta dish with scallops off the menu and when dinner came, it was pasta with crab. The manager insisted they did not have a pasta & scallop dish on the menu - but it was there in plain English. Otherwise, wonderful meal.
