It was a rainy Wednesday night that my girlfriend and I make the frightful mistake of stopping to eat at this place. Lucerne businesses tend to close early on Wednesdays and we were afraid we'd be left without an option to eat. We were lured by the "cheap" (by Swiss standards) prices. I had the "Swiss BBQ röstli" which consisted... More

We were told by another traveler that while in Switzerland you have to try Raclette cheese. So while on a trip with my mother, I found Swiss Stuebli in the tourist guide in our hotel room. Bonus about this little gem was that the Lion Monument was right around the corner so it was perfect after seeing the Lion Monument... More

We stopped in for lunch because the pictures looked appetizing and they had two things we wanted to try - the Raclette and the Luzerner Pastetli. Both were very underwhelming. The Pastetli was made with canned mushrooms, some kind of weird cubed mystery meat, and a very thin gravy with an uneven consistency. The Raclette was barely passable. Sliced pickles... More

The menu is completely different from the website. All the pictures shown on the website are false and misleading and so are the prices. The food was edible, barely, not worth CHF 26.50 each!! Ordered two servings of cheese fondue got the same amount as the single order next to me. Only difference was double the bread. The bread was... More

Well, we want to eat a fondue and we decided to try cause only one table was occupied... Then we want a big fondue but we got just a two plates for 25euros/plate (probably much work in the kitchen. so, base on our short experience of a Microwave fondue with some seasoned vegetable canning and two raw potatoes we decided... We went here for dinner because we had heard they had fondue. We explained to the waiter what we wanted and he kept pushing us to order sausage and potatoes. We were already getting bread so we didn't need two carbs and I didn't want sausage I wanted chicken. Every time i said that he would repeat back sausage and... More

I visited there for many Koreans were in there, but it was not my style. Breads were not so fresh. Cheese smells bad. The woman who serves me was not so kind.

We went to this restaurant and had okay fondue but the bread was rather stale. The waiter also gave us more bread at no cost but at the very end when we were pretty much finished the fondue. It was not mentioned that payment of 20 Francs is not allowed on a credit card even though we have to pay... More

By reading all reviews it looks like there are two teams running this restaurant. The place is cosy and picturesque, the fondue was good even if a bit small compared to other places. The place is in the centre of the city and enjoys an excellent position. It has definitely room for improvement and it could be great. The staff... More

This restaurant is located near the lion statue and it was difficult to figure out which restaurant to try. This one posted the menu outside with pictures and had rosti, bratwurst and raclette which we chose. The restaurant was small, with wooden tables and benches you might see in a Swiss chalet.. Service was simple, but food very good and... More
