Description: Located close to the famous Gutsch castle and Utoring apartments, Restaurant GourmIndia Luzern provides an authentic Indian experience. Using a blend of traditional Indian spices, our chefs from India create true Village style Indian cuisine. Our hearty portions and friendly service mean everyone eats like a King. We specialize in classic regional dishes such as Goan prawn curry and Tandoori chicken served on a sizzling platter. These are accompanied by aromatic basmati rice or freshly prepared Naan bread baked in a traditional Indian tandoor (clay oven). Sip on a refreshing mango lassi to cool down while enjoying the blend of Indian spices The Kings menu is highly recommended for those who wish to try a variety of our favourite dishes and enjoy it to your heart's content. Book in advance for Kings menu and enjoy a complimentary hot masala Chai. We look forward in giving you a taste of Authentic Indian food.

Well, I would sum up our visit with this famous punjabj idiom "dudh da dudh, paani da paani". This means that once you visit this place, fact (this food) and fiction (usually famous under banner "curry")can be separated under perceptive lens. You can then compare how indian food is represented normally with red and oily layers (atleast thats what sells... More

budget low - high pocket restaurant in lucerne. the restaurant has option for buffet for masses which is actually prepared for big tour parties from india and is very reasonable priced. they also have option for a-la card which is an expensive option but still good to have if u are dying to taste desi food.

We found this restaurant as top Indian restaurant in Lucerne - slightly outside city centre but we made the effort. Excellent service - all the servers and the manager wanted to make sure that guests were well looked after. Food was also delicious and authentic Indian.

Best Indian food we've ever tasted accompanied by a rich full red Indian wine. Service was great and staff real friendly. We'll definitely revisit when back in town. +++++ Doggies are welcome!

I love Indian food and coming from NYC (and having visited India) I've enjoyed some great Indian dishes. Although I've found some good Indian restaurants in Switzerland, this place tops them all. It's absolutely fantastic! I'll come back again and again for sure! Mmmmmmmmm
