Our hotel recommended the Restaurant Lapin, and we weren't disappointed. The decor is warm and relaxing, and the food was excellent. Prices were not unreasonable, and service was good. It was easy walking distance from the lakefront.

Inside this externally unimpressive corner establishment we found a gem of an authentic Swiss restaurant packed with locals who warmly welcomed us and served a delicious lunch at a reasonable cost--a rarity in touristy Luzern. The vegetarian rosti was the best I've tasted and I once lived in Switzerland. Plus the young wait staff loved trying out their English to... More

We had visited Lucerne many times and had tried lots of recommended eating place. This time we decided to try Lapin since it was close to our hotel. The food itself was decent (not exceptional). Prices seemed in line with the other local restaurants. Our server was accommodating and friendly.

We were looking for restaurant to try Swiss food and we decided to go to Lapin. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and good food. Prices are same as all other places in Switzerland. Good location, not so far away from sightseeing.

My friends and I ate at this restaurant, since we travelled in a group of 20, our food was only average. Was initially excited that this restaurant was a highly recommended place in Lucerne. Service is poor as we were herded into a large back room of the restaurant. Our preordered dinner was fish and Ratatouille which I was very... More

Forget about the negative reviews, this is an excellent restaurant. We had Wild, deer saddle. absolutely perfect. Two plates, as usual in Switzerland, the waitress asked me if I wanted my sauce left on the table or kept warm until the second plate arrived. Asked for extra cranberries, appeared instantly. English spoken, no problem. very friendly, each item on the... More

Grüezi thank you very much for your nice and lovely review. Indeed the Wild Season is a total success for our restaurant. We had so good response on the venaison saddle and all the other dishes. The day we arrived in Lucerne was quite naturally tiring. We had flown all night and eager to see the beautiful city of Lucerne we hit the deck running during the day. My husband I had a most charming meal at Lapin during a recent trip to Lucerne. The restaurant has an old word feel and most sumptuous meals. The service was friendly and the owner stopped by to ensure the quality. A very civilized evening! Highly recommended and can't wait to return!
