Good Indian food but high on prices

The food here is tasty and authentic Indian food though a bit too spicy. Their garlic naans are huge and quantity is good. The prices are on the higher side but that's everywhere in Switzerland. Overall a good place if you are craving for Indian food in lucerne.

Well atleast the best that we had in the 3 days that we were in Lucerne ! Took the effort to walk an extra ~500mtrs to get here (from Kanchi) and we were glad we did. Good Indian food selection. Ambience is average but better than Kanchi. Pricing is similar to Kanchi. They served delicious and spicy (at our request)... More

The Ownerfamily ("Donnie and Ronnie) are very friendly and give you a warm welcome-feeling. The food taste very good and the Banana-Leaf-Menu is just great. It is also suitable for Vegans (please ask in advance). Also they got a few vegetarian menus. We like this location.

People at restaurant are courteous but its overpriced USD 60-70 for a buffet. Its easy to find on Steinenstrasse and you cant miss it. Food is semi-fresh and not good in taste. Ambience is okay. So except for the location there isnt anything pretty exciting. Go only if you're devoid of options which you wont be when you're in the... More

We went there with a family. Food was not cooked properly. I feel it was stale food. Manager/waiter was so rude that you will not enjoy your food. They will make you feel that they are charging less amount so you won't be provided with any service or humanity. Money is less but who wants to compromise with health. Poor... More

The lunchtime buffet was disappointing - poor selection. In all fairness, the food was good if you happen to prefer unlimited plain boiled rice, tandoori chicken and aubergine (eggplant) curry. There was a nondescript soup as starter, lassi as well, papadums included, a pinkish salad - beetroot? (unappetising), some sort of dessert (not tried). But at a price of CHF... More

We found this resturant through the city guide given at the hotel and found it exactly as good as Mirch Masala in London. The manager (mr. Nadeem) was ever so helpful and made us felt home. The dinner was very good, expacially the sheesh kabab - the chicken biryani not so good. We were given the Mango lassi as a... More

Went there with indian friends, not expecting much because of other negaive posts on tripadvisor. However, we were positively surprised by the quailty of the food. The service was friendly, the price ok for Swiss standards. My Indian friends enjoyed it and found it much better than at Kanchi where they had eaten the night before.

We were in Luzern and decided to go to this place. Its a shame on the name of Indian food. The lady at the counter had an attitude as though she was the queen of some kingdom and looked at us as though we were some lowly people. The food was nowhere near normal standards in terms of quality. I... More
