We saw this restaurant in a guide book and decided to try it out. Prices were as expected as Switzerland in general is expensive. The setting is pleasant and the service was attentive. I had the Rosti and it was good, but not as good as other places. Overall, we weren't disappointed but not overwhelmed either.

We were looking for authentic Swiss food, (rosti specifically hahaha), on our last night in Lucerne. It was a busy night. A bit difficult to call the waitress and we were seated upstairs. The food were pricey and average in my opinion.

This is Swiss Food at its best..... Our first time here was a little intimidating due to the language barrier, but we have been back several times now and the Staff are just a little shy...with English. The atmosphere is very cool and they have multiple level dining rooms. We prefer the downstairs areas, but up stairs can be fun if... More

Our family went here on recommendations from the staff at the Waldstraetterhoff Hotel and Tripadvisor. Both were 100% correct that we could get a great tasting meal at a more affordable price. It was too cool to eat outside (very close to Reuss River on the train side of the river) but we were glad we went inside. It is... More

Stumbled on this restaurant while wandering through Lucerne. Food was fantastic. Excellent sausages, roisti potatoes!!! Some of the staff didn't speak much English, so communication was spotty, but the food was worth the effort!!

Centrally located, friendly service, proper job on the Swiss classics. Big sausages, crunchy slabs of rösti, hearty gravy, and good local wines, all at reasonable prices (for Swiss standards, that is).

The "very Swiss" comment goes both ways: high standards for the meal, low for the service... Nevertheless, it was one of the better values that I've had in this very touristy and expensive city.

Hotel told us about this restaurant and we learned it was just a very short walk. We went early and our selections were served promptly and were very good. Highly recommend!

Very nice restaurant in the heart of old town. Popular with locals as well as tourists, it serves a mix of traditional and more contemporary foods. We had dinner here. The lemon grass soup was exceptional, as was the veal sausage with Rosti- a must have while in Switzerland, especially when done as well as they do it here. Take... More

A restaurant located near the old city, a bit hidden from the main dinning area, but absolute MUST EAT/muts devour place! Lovely lemon grass soup, nice deer ravioli, outstanding trout with rice and absolutely lovely meets/sausages! A good value for money, in a city that is not cheap...
