A restaurant located near the old city, a bit hidden from the main dinning area, but absolute MUST EAT/muts devour place! Lovely lemon grass soup, nice deer ravioli, outstanding trout with rice and absolutely lovely meets/sausages! A good value for money, in a city that is not cheap...

Three couples have been traveling in Europe for 2 weeks and it has been a challenge trying to find a restaurant to meet everyone's taste. Taube fit the bill. We all had a difficult time trying to narrow down our choices. We each had something different and everyone raved about their meal. The staff was very nice and attentive

Fine German/Swiss cuisine in an inviting atmosphere. Excellent service and a strong menu of solid local selections, including season game like venison and boar. Relaxed and inviting and reasonably priced. Enjoy.

I can think of nothing that the staff could have done to make us less welcome to the extent that we nearly walked out and only regret that we didn't. The staff were plain rude. The food was edible but certainly nothing special. While we are used to Swiss prices, this place was massively overpriced for its very bland food.... More

I visit this restaurant often when entertaining guests and it does not disappoint. Large portions and typical Swiss dishes are served here. Sometimes there are specials on the menu which are worth tasting.

My husband and I went for an early dinner to beat the crowds. When asked for clarification on some of the menu items we were told matter of factory that it was 'all good'. My husband chose a sausage meal which was good but I ended up with a cold cut plate which was not clear from the menu. I... More

Two of us went to this cellar like restaurant near the weir in Lucerne. This is not a comfort zone because you sit on wooden chairs and benches which are a bit hard. On the other hand, prices are a little lower, though not much, than some other establishments serving much the same food. The service is excellent, efficient and... More

We visited Lucerne on a Sunday, where most of the shops and restaurants are closed. This restaurant was one of the very few that opens. We were seated inside, the interior have a very swiss design, like a traditional swiss wood house. Food are traditionally swiss too. However, most of the dishes are too salty for our liking (we found... More

We stayed in Lucerne for one night and our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. We found they had a good variety and were knowledgeable about gluten free options. My wife and I had the white fish which was very good. One of the better restaurants that we found on this trip to Europe.

Our guide on the walking tour recommended it. Food was decent- actually good. My husband had the veal, and I had the potatoes with cheese, and a egg on top! Service was fine. I had a view of the door the waitresses and waiters used. Not a lot of ambience. The prices were very reasonable.
