Charming Lakeside Spot

Friends from the area took us to this very charming restaurant, part of a small hotel, right on the shores of one of the Interlaken lakes. Serving fresh fish was a specialty, fun to watch the ferry boats come right up to the dock, sit out side and enjoy the scenery and food. This place is a little... read more

This hotel was a last minute booking, as our daytrip to Lucerne had taken longer than anticipated. The staff made every effort to feed us, although the kitchen was closed. We were also allocated a stunning room, overlooking the lake. (in the original building.) (I did see a room facing the back of the hotel, and it was not nearly... More

We had a problem with one or two snorty european ladies in the breakfast hall, pretending to not hear us time and again. Would feel odd if you are an Asian. If... More

Had Christmas dinner with them. The food was quite Okay but a bit pricy. It costed 127 CHF for two ( two course per person + three glasses of white wine.). Anyway, Luzern is very expensive

We arrived at Hotel Seeburg in Lucerne in the late afternoon after a long day of sightseeing. We are here two nights. The Front Desk enticed us to dine here with $10 discount per person, we didn't want to hassel with going into Old Town. It was great! The diningroom faces the lake, we got a window table. The view... Just at the shore of the wild Lake of Lucerne. We do love the Sunset Bar, sipping your Campari or a Prosecco - and a relaxed chat with friends and family: A kind of paradise.

Try the fish soup, it was very tasty... It did not taste fishy at all. Appetizers were very good and presented with elegance, you almost do not want to eat them. Staff were prompt and very nice... Price is worthy of the food and service!
