The casual spot in Geneva

Very interesting place, where you can have a glance at the chess players playing with enormous pieces! Nice to walk around in the park and look at the wall... quite an interesting piece! All depends how the place is busy, but the service is good and we did enjoy our brunch. Best spot to be in... read more

The place is a beautiful pavilion in the park and the restaurant owners are very friendly, polite and welcoming - quite different from the usual snobbish Geneva style. The brunch on Sundays is to die for, just excellent. Great place to hang out with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Very good brunch variety and the service was excellent, don't know why a lot of people are complaining:) but indeed it was very good and I have even agreed with my friends to go thief again soon... Hope I wasn't only lucky the first time and they show consistency

Beautiful and classy at all times of the year, this is my favorite park in Geneva. Great for picnics, beers, dancing, chess, playground with children, strolls, reading, and access to the university libraries. Also has some gorgeous old trees and and elegant sculptures.

best thing is people playing huge chess, while sitting there you can also enjoy. There are some other game also. But main attraction this park is the wall

The setting for this restaurant is very pretty. It is a small scale crystal palace with chandeliers. The meals was OK, but the food was cold by the time it was served. We had squash soup with smoked fish for an appetizer which would have been excellent if it were warmer. The chicken with mushrooms for the main course was... More

I went there with friends for the sunday brunch a few months ago. The service was very slow, nobody took care of us and we had to wait 10 minutes at the entrance. The food was terrible and not price-worthy. If you want to go to a proper sunday brunch at the same price range go to the "Halles de... More

I had a friend visiting from Italy and Sunday lunch was our only option to meet. Finding a good restaurant in Geneva on Sundays is quite difficult. I read the reviews about how bad the service is at this restaurant, but there were also some good reviews, so I booked a table anyway. When we arrived at the restaurant, we... More

Looks like it might be a snooty but not at all. The food is totally decent and served in a sort of glass garden conservatory. The prices are good as well, for being relatively a high standard of servings, which are also presented nicely. Only thing is the slow and inattentive service, other than that location, food and price make... More

The Café is situated in the corner of the park in a beautiful pavilion. Have a nice cup of coffee and relax inside or during the summer time in the park. It's a nice place but if you don't want to wait for nothing I'd recommend that you go directly to the bar to order and pay. The service is... More
