I had a friend visiting from Italy and Sunday lunch was our only option to meet. Finding a good restaurant in Geneva on Sundays is quite difficult. I read the reviews about how bad the service is at this restaurant, but there were also some good reviews, so I booked a table anyway. When we arrived at the restaurant, we... More

Looks like it might be a snooty but not at all. The food is totally decent and served in a sort of glass garden conservatory. The prices are good as well, for being relatively a high standard of servings, which are also presented nicely. Only thing is the slow and inattentive service, other than that location, food and price make... More

The Café is situated in the corner of the park in a beautiful pavilion. Have a nice cup of coffee and relax inside or during the summer time in the park. It's a nice place but if you don't want to wait for nothing I'd recommend that you go directly to the bar to order and pay. The service is... More

Excellent Park, with giant chessboards, sculptures, historic statues and green open spaces. Good for families, kids and romantic couples.

Difficult to find a reasonable brunch in Geneva. Parc des Bastions lays on one on Sundays that meets all the requirements from eggs and bacon to meat and fish dishes with salads, cold meats and deserts. The offering is quite extensive. The art deco building is well renovated with large windows onto the surrounding park. Service is pleasant and friendly.... More

The location is in a park in a peaceful and green setting , outdoor and indoor seating is available , food menu is a good selection of chicken , beef and seafood dishes yet the portions as in most French cuisine restaurants are relatively small so it is hard to fill up your tummy in this restaurant , the prices... Slow service that appears not have evolved since the 18th century. A one hour lunch appears to be impossible and CHF12 for a desert at lunchtime is really exhaggerated, especially when I saw the size of the fondant au chocolaté. The norm for a similar desert is CHF8 in similar restaurants.

We ate here as part of a special dinner for program participants. First, there were some nice Swiss wines, and they poured small amounts of fruit liqueur, (Kir, Williams, others) which added to the taste and color. Then there was a nice taste treat with a small cup of cold soup with a piece of toast with salmon. Then there... More

Finding a restaurant open on Sunday lunchtime in Geneva is tricky so this is a treasure. The architecture and situation is lovely. From our table we could watch the ice skaters and chess players outside having whetted our appetite with a stroll around Geneva Old Town. Sunday Brunch is a delicious buffet including: breakfast cereals and pastries, salads, fish, cold... More

We ate here in a group of 10 people, had made a reservation but they had put it down on the wrong day so scrambled together three tables asking us: 1. to order only between two dishes in the whole menu and 2. to write down our order ourselves. Staff was rude, inattentive, openly hostile for reasons we did not... More
