The meat was good but quite expensive, the same for the wine. The place was really hot, no air to breath. We were not very far from the door, so at some point we were just freezing. It was so smoky that our clothes were smelling really bad, and we had to do the laundry as soon as we got... More

This restaurant is located on the ground floor of a big building. From outside it's not easy to see it. When you are inside, you have a GREAT big restaurant with differents spaces and there is also a space to dance (At least on saturday evening). The charbonnade is very good and I appreciated that they don't put too much... More

Good beef but 8 CHF for a bottle of water and 14 CHF for a spoon of jagermaister it's too much. It's a pity because the charbonier it's really good.

We had charbonnade express with some good Genevoise red for the whole group. Service was friendly and quick, meat tender, fresh and plentiful, and sides reasonable. On a Saturday evening the place was absolutely packed, and the atmosphere was lively - most of the people seemed to have either charbonnade or meat fondue for dinner. Reservation is probably a good... More

The place is quite dingy. It is located in the outskirts of Carouge, in an industrial area and not the romantic and old part of Carouge. The place looks like a run down bar, serving charbonnade. Pro: Coal fire charcoal pit at your table. Good service. Con: Hair and clothes will smell of smoked meat even if you are not... More

We had lunch there last Sunday. My wife ordered the (expensive) plat-du-jour (30 frs) which was OK. The fondue I ordered was one of the worse ones I've had, if not THE worst. We were happy to find a place open on a Sunday (non-stop), but we found it quite expensive for ordinary food. The ventilation is poor and many... More

The title says it all. They also organise nice apéros at the time I was there. The cave and choice of wine is quite large.

This place was great in the past, but the past few times we went we were very disapointed. Very poor service, we had to wait ages. The quality and quantity of food is not what it used to be. All in all expensive and not worth it, there are much nicer places in Geneva for the same price but with... More

Apart from eating low quality meet on a charcoal basket put in frontbofvyou, you can be sure to go out with smelly clothes after paying a high bill. But who and people go there ? The answer is probably in a good marketing that unfortunately you cannot eat !
