We ate at Shahi twice- the reason we went back was because our first experience was good. The chicken curry was decent. Peas pulao was nice and fresh and the bhindi masala was okay (masala was undercooked), chapatis were okay but thick. The second time around we were quite disappointed, the mutton Rogan josh was oily and boneless (which I... More

Do NOT order there! MacDonald's better treats its customers. Quality of food is disastrous and owner probably the worst person to handle an issue. Do NOT order there!

Sadly it's all gone to hell. After reading these good reviews I went to Shahi to discover that it has moved up the road, and now occupies a glamorous space and does "Indian pizzas" as well as traditional food. It's just a big mess. The guy making pizzas is also trying to serve 5 tables, everyone is running around in... More

The food was really good but atmosphere a bit cold. Not because of the service but more because of the decor. They should do something about it and then everything would be absoluely perfect. Maybe some life music would do also very good.......But the food.....mjammie !!!

The location is fantastic, just opposite the main train station of Geneva. Service is reasonably quick. But the food is not exceptional and not authentic. Not bad either, just average. But the prices are high, even by Geneva standards. If you are in a hurry, want Indian/Pakistani food and price is not an issue, this is the place to go.

First, the address should be updated. Shahi is now at 38 Rue de Lausanne. We went to Place de Cornavin 2 and they had a helpful sign on the door saying they had moved (in October). It was a little strange to see pizza on the menu, but then you find out that its now an Italian & Indian restaurant... More

I went there for lunch and there was only one other table occupied. It still took a while for the menu to arrive, then for the order to be taken, but I was in no hurry and amused myself by studying the very kitsch decor. The dahl was excellent, just the right consistency. Vegetable korma and Bombay aloo were okay.... More

Authentic food, nice atmosphere. Well-priced for Geneva, with the plus of offering halal meats. Portions are relatively generous and service is good. This is probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Geneva.

Our Son wanted to eat ONLY indian and after long tiring day we had to settle for the closet restaurant to our hotel and i must say we were not diaappointed. We order dal/Paneer/naan and I must say that naans were so good that my 7yr old boy described it as "soft/puffy/sweet/crispy/non elastic/easy chew" so when naan were so good... More

Pathetic service, rude and uncourteous waiters. This restaurant is severing low quality which is not safe for health. Due to his location it is in high demand apparently not taking all the precautions as per health and safety.
