One of the best fondue places in Geneva

Took some traveling friends here to enjoy Swiss fondue. Lots of choices, and a big PLUS that you can order 1 portion of each fondue (we were 4, had 4 different style fondue and shared, in many restaurants you need to be minimum 2 to order a fondue). Reasonable prices for Geneva, good wines and... read more

Great choice of fondues, with some original twists. Good atmosphere, just some of the tables are quite squashed in, but once you sit down and enjoy a glass of Swiss wine this is quickly forgotten.

A little outside of the Geneva center direction Annemasse in Chene-Bougeries, you will find a what i'd call very genuine fondue place. Perfect interior matching the simplicity of sharing a fondue with friends and/or family (Never alone!). Service is excellent and very friendly. Start with a little salad and then move to the "viande seche" (air-dried meat). Then you will... More

When you feel like trying a lot of cheese dishes, this is the place to go. The fondue is creamy and tasty, the tartine au fromage de chèvre and the soup are delicious. Nice swiss ambience, good service, good prices. If you wish to go therein weekend, I recommend to make reservation if no t, it's always full.

As it's tradition in Geneva to eat fondue at the first sighting of snow and as there was a 100% chance of snow in the night we decided to get a jump on the fondue rush and book ourselves in to Le Gruyerien for an evening meal. There were 3 of us and we shared the moitie-moitie fondue which came... More

We were there with a group from work. We had a nice fondue with ham, sausage and cheese. The restaurant is Good, specially to go with friends. Nothing exceptional but agreeable.

Second fondue eaten on this trip. It is really difficult to choose one over the other as both were really good. Nonetheless, I have to say the portion in Le Gruyerien is perfect for one person and the flavor is well balanced. I had the moitié-moitié with a glass of champagne; very good fondue and the champagne was just ok.... More

I really enjoyed my dinner at Le Gruyerien's Plainpalais location. There were a lot of locals, which was a good sign. Had the fondue moitie-moitie, which was really the epitome of what I imagined Swiss fondue should be like. Silken, rich, with just the right blend of cheeses. Super tasty. They were generous with the delicious bread and potatoes to... More

This was real waste of time, money and opportunity!!!! Staff was indifferent to the guests, the plate of specialities was two sort of cured ham and a pice of cheese 2x2 cm small. Very dirty place and toilets worthy of a public bus station in Marokko Don't go, there a plenty better places I Geneva downtown.

This is definitely the best place for Swiss specialities. It was the best fondue I have ever had. Definitely worth the walk out of the center.
