Great experience in Geneva

Le Bain de Paquis is a must-do in Geneva, even for the experience alone. It is very interestingly located on a narrow stretch of concrete and pebbles which runs from downtown Geneva towards the center of Lake Geneva. On a sunny day, you'll see tons of people having fun around there. It's fun, an... read more

If you like uncomplicated yet good quality food in a beautiful setting, Bain des Pâquis is the place to go. It's literally in the lake with a beautiful view of the city. The prices are very decent as the restaurant is run by anon profit organization.

This is my favourite place to eat and relax when I'm in Geneva. You can combine a swim in the Lake with a lovely meal. It's great for lunch or for an early dinner. The food is plentiful and delicious, and exceptional value for Geneva. It's also nice just to take a drink and relax. Highly recommended.

The Bains de Pâquis has a very famous "buvette". It is self-service except for the fondue (only served during the winter months)). During summer months, around noon and at diner time, ordering can take some time, so better come early ( Try their breakfast at CHF 10 (ask for the "bircher müsli"). Or the "plat du jour". It changes every... More

Very relaxed atmosphere, next to Lake Geneva, and surrounded by nice kind people. The staff behind the counter is a little slow to be honest, as they seem to be understaffed but overall the service is pretty good, and there's almost always chairs available.

Basic surroundings out on the pier, but good food in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The fondue was lovely and the wine was good too! Probably the best value for money in Geneva.

Probably among the cheapest options for a hot meal in Geneva (not many of those outside the super-market restaurants). Simple menu, with one dish of the day, so better be there early, to avoid

This is a must do if you are on holiday in Geneva. Sit outside and take in the surrounding vista. Cheap and cheery for Switzerland - value for money and the fondue with a group is fun.

I like Bains des Paquis, it's a chilled out place in the Summer where you can lie/sit by the lake and go for a swim as well as enjoy their plat du jour (between 12-15CHF) which is always delicious. In Winter, they offer a fondue, I like it because it's a different atmosphere than in a restaurant (you have to... More

Breakfast was okay - juice, coffee, muesli..... very swiss and at a somewhat reasonable cost. Sitting on the jetty into the lake, surrounded by the other "bathing" facilities was a nice way to spend a overcast Saturday morning. Lots or locals and tourists. Friendly staff.
