Winter days are here.. This means eating Fondue should not a miss... I've tasted several fondue in Geneva and each have their own twist.. Here you can taste a more garlic flavored Fondue which i loved.. Ambience is so inviting.. Price is pocket friendly... So if you happen to crave for a Fondue during winter time. This resto is just... Having lunch outdoor in November is quite exceptionally, autumn is not wat it used to be, but you don't hear me complaining. La Buvette du Bain de Paquis is a lovely place to have a quick basic lunch sitting outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Concept is self service, but you are served very quick and the food is decent. the... More

I had a fantastic afternoon at Le Bain du Paquis, yesterday October19th2014 - Beautiful and very warm weather- The whole experience was awesome. The food is simple ( don't expect 5*) nice and simple- I had a Greek salad and a cheese platter, with a nice glass of Valais wine. All in all, a fantastic time by the lake. I... More

Great place near the lake to go for an informal meal when in Geneva. Not much to choose but the "Plat du jour" is always a good choice. Nice to know that there's a place open on Sundays!!!

They say, everything is pricey in Geneva. not this place... and it has the high standards as the rest. It is a small buffet on the pier/bath and you have to pay for the entrance even if you go just for the food and not for swimming, but it is worth it. In the summer they have (after 6pm) plate... It was great food but tables crammed together; however, we recommend it except for the location which is in a somehow seedy part of town.

I love spending a sunny afternoon at Le Bain des Paquis. Easily accessible, this is a great place to lounge in the sun, read a book, enjoy a well-priced massage, and a delicious lunch. The ambience around the lake is one of the best and I always make sure that I either start or end with lunch there! I have... More

Ok, the "buvette" may look nice and prices low. But be aware that they sell HORSE dried meat instead of beef dried meat... since 15 years without informing their clients! In Switzerland, when you buy dried meat you are supposed to buy beef dried meat NOT horse dried meat! Otherwise it has to be clearly written so that clients are... More
