A nice restaurant with excellent food - nice ambience. A bit pricey but food well worth it. I hear they have brunches with kids entertainments on Sundays, but have not tried that yet.

This is the first time we visited "Woods" We arrived at 13:30 we had a warm welcome, for us is very important the first impression we have of the restaurant. The buffet varied, colorful and for all tastes, tasty cold appetizers, hot dishes as well, delicious desserts. The service attentive and professional. The only negative point I have is that... More

Excellent for business, you can get a very quite and large table in this beautifully decorated restaurant. The service is very good, the personnel is very professional. If there is a weakness it is that the food is probably to "international" and did not impressed me. Nevertheless the wine card is excellent and the breakfast buffet really impressive

Chic Brunch on a Sunday. Great gourmet dishes. Nice for birthdays. Always reserve in advance and ask if you would like to sit on the garden side. Very polite and helpful waiting staff. Price per person is comparable with other five star hotels.

I had the prix fixe meal while staying at the Hotel Intercontinental. The service was excellent and well timed. I was also offered bread and a spread before the meal began. The first course was shrimp tartar that was very tasty. The second was candied lamb shank. It was tender and feel off of the bone. The seasoning included sliced... More

A perfect welcome, you really feel a guest here. Setting is from very good to OK, but there is not much of view (as one would have at the lake side). On the starters an excellent choice incl. oysters and lobsters (but you have to come not too late as it seems to be popular); as for mains OK offering as... The restaurant was quiet and we were given an intimate boutique corner where we could sit, relax and enjoy our meal in an unhurried, uninterrupted way. Thomas paced the meal well, advised us on wines to compliment each sector of the meal. The dessert menu was refreshing in that it had so many desserts inclusive of fruits, delicately presented with... More

We ate at Woods two nights in a row, both times choosing a set menu with wines to match. A lovely prawn starter with avocado creme was paired with a delicious Sancerre. This was followed by cod on a bed of julienned vegetables in a spicy Asian sauce paired with a lovely Chablis. Dessert was a fascinating variation on Eton... More
