Having our parents visiting for the weekend demanded a high quality gastronomy program. They love italian food and we always go to the classic Mirtillo, Auberge d'Onex… Knowing that they close on Sunday, and willing to try something else, we decided to book at Il Lago. the atmosphere is super "bourgoise" as its located at one of the salons of... We visited the Four Seasons restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Very attentive staff, amazing food, beautiful location. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion. We had the taster menu and it didn't disappoint.

High end dining at a high price. I ate one main course, a fantastic mushroom risotto, and a glass of wine washed down with sparkling water for CHF100 (US$110). One could easily spend US$200 a head. Still my employer took the tab. Service was discrete, friendly and highly professional.

Great Italian presentation and taste at il Lago. I thought the food, service, and ambiance all deserved 5 stars. The lobster risotto was excellent, as well as the veal. Great special occasion restaurant inside one of the best hotels in the city.

Il Lago offers everything that a business traveller would expect when entertaining guests. It has superb service accompanied by reasonably good food. Wine list is adequate, choice of champagne is satisfactory. If the weather permits, sit outside, enjoy the sun and the view of the city and the lake.

We spent the last evening of our stay in Geneva at this fine restaurant. The setting is really grand and elegant. The menu offers a nice variety of creative Italian dishes. The day we came they had just gotten some fresh white Truffles from Alba, so we could not resist but accept their offer to add it to one of... More

One of my favorite places to dine. Seen the cost involved, I limit the visits to this restaurant to special occasions only but, on the other hand, it is well worth it. The level of service, friendliness of the staff, quality of cooking, serving, wines, all excellent. You can indicate how much time you have, whether it is just a... More

After spending the day sightseeing around Geneva, a friend and I decided to stop off at this restaurant. Luckily they had quite a few tables free on a Saturday night! However we were disgusted at the way two of the staff treated us. No wine offered, no one came to see us for like 15 minutes, some staff looking down... More
