What a great place. Essentially the menu us steak & chips. That's it. Steak was cooked perfectly (really impressive given how very very busy thus place is) and is served on a platter above a small burner and which sizzles away on platter on your table. Good portion of fries on a plate and enjoy! I accompanied my meal with... More

We had to try Cafe de Paris as it's menu was so specific. We were not disappointed. Our meal was simple an really nice. We ate inside and the room is a Parisian treat. Wood, mirrors, wooden tables and chairs, paper napkins... Our waitress was pleasant and we had a great evening. For what you get it's expensive but it's... More

I visited Cafe de Paris (Chez Bouvier) in Geneva which is the original Cafe de Paris started in 1930. My first visit there was in 1993 and I have had the pleasure to go back there about 15 times since. After my last visit last weekend (18-20/07/2014) my conclusion is that this is still the best steak I have visited... More

Very authentic restaurant. The menu is simple with steak and fries. The best cafe de paris sauce that you can taste. High level of butter makes the sauce delicious. You can have unlimited fries with your steak. Reservation is recommended. Sitting in Outside is nice in good weather.

The menu is pretty simple actually - steak and fries. Drowned in garlic butter, perfectly cooked (I like it medium rare) in what one would expect as surroundings with the name Cafe de Paris. Like anything else in Geneva, don't expect a bargain. Everything is at least 3 to 4 times the price one would expect to pay.

The entrecôte served there is good and their 'special' sauce is tasty (but I still prefer that of Le Relais de l'Entrecote). Service is in-line with what one gets in Geneva but the bill was quite hefty. Be mindful that this is a typical entrecôte restaurant (i.e. only one meal at the menu). They have great desserts, especially their creme... More

Went to to Cafe de Paris about 55 yrs ago and still amazed at how many visitors complain about the meat. It's either not enough, too raw, too thin etc. if you want meat then best you eat it in the US before crossing the Atlantic. Also that the waiters are rude, unpleasant, even pushy but that is sometimes the... More
