In the first place it was open when we needed it and the beef steak was nicely served on a platter that was kept hot by lamps underneath. The setting is not modernistic but comfortable and welcoming

No choice on the menu, only "entrecote" and french fries, green salad and that's what makes it a great place.

Two minutes walk from the train station, a nice brasserie "french style". I was a bit surprised by the lack of choice, as only one meal was proposed, but the surprised turned out to be wonderful. Excellent meet, home made fries, the wine served with it was very good. There is a certain "lack of style" in the service if... More

I used to take anyone who would visit me in Geneva to Cafe de Paris cause it's very central and meat used to be soft in a delicious sauce . But last summer I had to apologies to my guests cause meat was chewy and sauce had been made poorly .maybe it was a fault of time of a year... More

We have often been to the Café de Paris and always enjoy the excellent entrecôte that they serve with crispy chips (French fries). The busy atmosphere is typical of this type of brasserie, with a constant flow of diners walking in and out, and hurried waiters carrying burning plates of steaming beef. While the staff is generally friendly, waiters do... More

I am an International Hotelier & I used to be a regular client of L'Entrecote which is replaced now by Café de Paris serving the same old formule but with the following dramatic changes: Low quality of meat & butter used in the sauce+ limited portion of meat not exceeding 130 gr. while they claim that it is 180 grams... We found this place on the main street leading down to the lake from the railway station. You could have a coffee and a croissant for not so much money for breakfast even if it was almost empty.
