A hidden gem!

The restaurant is set in one of Geneva's most beautiful parcs, the "Parc des Eaux Vives". The magnificent villa dates back to the 18th century and hosts both a boutique hotel and the restaurant La Brasserie. I had the fish, and I must say, coming from an island where fish is a common fish ... The fish I had here was amazing and very tasty. I will definitely come back again ...

To be avoided. Waiters were friendly but clearly not professional (yet?). We, as well as tables around us, were experiencing fawlty towers-like situations. Food is not that great, rather bland. Even the cheeses for desert were far below average, a joke. Prices are absolutely over the top, ridiculous. and I dine often in Geneva. Think of 10 CHF for a... More

The setting in this old Manor House, with views over Lake Geneva cannot be topped. The restaurant serves outstanding food in the traditional, classic way, with some contemporary foot-notes. My "fillet de veau doré" came with an acquerello aspargus risotto and was excellent. In fact, the whole six course dinner was outstanding. A place to remember and return to.

The dinner was a mixed bag of occurrences to say the least. The food was excellent. The service amateurish though with a smile, the place itself in dire need of renovation and the prices sky high. I had a simple yet juicy scallops carpaccio and a sweet and savoury pheasant. My dessert was an amazing combination of a coconut custard... More
