Atmospheric eaterie in Geneva

Went here last week with colleagues who had visited before. In the old town and through a doorway into a place full of ambience (not something you would instantly expect from Geneva). It seemed more like somewhere deep in France or Italy, with quirky seating areas, painted walls and lots of... read more

My wife and I enjoyed walking around old town and really liked the looks of Chez Ma. It's informal and you can dine on the street side patio or inside. We were able to get an outside table by joining two students visiting the university. The half roasted chicken with a salad and potato wedges was excellent. It was the... More

Best value meal in Geneva. It's specialty, the rotisserie chicken is consistently great. While the menu options are limited, it' a fantastic option if chicken is on your mind. Located in the "vielle ville" it's a great stop for a good value.

As a practical matter this popular inexpensive restaurant is chicken plus potatoes plus salad and that is about it. The branch my 3 generation family visited was in the old town part of Geneva near the cathedral. A lovely spot. Everyone was satisfied. No one was bowled over.

Reasonable prices (for Geneva), few locations in town, work 7 days a week with no kitchen breaks during a day (very important for Geneva). Nice service. And most importantly: excellent chicken!

If you are tired of fondue, this is the place. Off the beaten path in the old town, with a limited menu but a Great roasted chicken. (They basically just serve chicken, but they have an excellent roast pork dish), Get the extra sauce, you will absolutely love it. My kids kept asking for more

I went there several times with friends, always had a good time, cheap meal and wine, but good memories!

Chose this restaurant after reading what good value it was since eating in Geneva seems to be extortionately expensive. The location is delightful in the Old Town and the atmosphere is cosy - all seemed promising. However the menu is limited to a few chicken dishes which are moderately priced but not particularly good.My Thai salad was very disappointing -... More

Visiting Geneva with the USD trending so low was quite a shock. Prices extremely high. I read about this Restaurant at another travel website and decided to give it a try given it was very close to our hotel (Intercontinental). The service was friendly and nice. The Chicken was quite good; both the curry and baked. The price was lower... More

One of my friends who lives in Geneva suggested me to eat at "Chez ma cousine" and he was absolutely right: the restaurant itself is pretty small (no more than 20 tables) and we had to wait a while, but both the food and the price were extremely competitive for Geneva. The menu is very simple as they have about... More
