Packed restaurant. No frills, great fondue. First time I learned about la religieuse (the crust at the bottom of the fondue pan, that can be served at the end of the meal). Great place, go here!

The best cheese fondue in the world. This cafe is always packed, there is a great atmosphere and it's fun. For such a busy place the service is great and the cafe is strongly recommended. It's basic and beautiful and worth a visit.

My aunt who used to work for the UN told me about this restaurant for a long time. Finally we went there for their famous fondue...what a treat. We started with some "viande sechée", then the fondue which was great. With a dry white wine or a tea this is amazing. The desserts sounded good (meringue and Crème de Gruyère,... More

Walk into a space that feels unchanged over decades, with a menu that claims connections to a fondue concocted right there during the Crimean War. The plaster on the walls doesn't feel quite that old, but it reflects thousands of non-stop service from 1130 am through 11 pm more or less, most days of the year, of a limited menu... More

i've been 2 times in the resto, once for fondue, and once for classic meat dish. I can't say it's bad, but roughly not remarkable. Some considers this place for best fondue in gva, but its far from truth. Portions are very small and the rest is quite regular. it's charming may be in summer to enjoy on terasse, but... More

Great busy and bustling restaurant. Rustic style. Wonderful fondue. It really is fantastic. Also try the Malakoffs (more cheese but this time fried!). It also has some great salads, steaks and beef fillet. Would also recommend the chocolate mouse or fondant for dinner. No cheese board unfortunately. Some very pleasant and drinkable white wines to help you digest all that... More

This is nice place to go when you want to have a good fondue. It is quite out of the city centre but it is easy to get there by bus. Service is fine, interior is little bit worn but it is part of its atmosphere.

The fondue most certainly lived up to the reviews! Good sized portion. The restaurant is a little cramped and service isnt amazing. But feels like a real family run restaurant with character and way from a great deal of tourists on the "beaten track". Was overly expensive given the general costs in Geneva. Would definitely recommend!

If you want to taste a typical fondue in Geneve, you should go to this place. The food is great and it is full, even during the winter. It has also a good service and it is a good value for money (although you can expect as everything in Geneve is a bit more expensive than you would be accustomed... More

Nothing about this place is flash. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Geneva and parts of it looks like it. Don't expect to be fawned over with great service or linen tablecloths. The location isn't particularly good and you have to drive. Putting all these things aside this was still our favourite restaurant in Geneva -although only if you... More
