Delicious neighborhood restaurant

Not a huge menu, but everything we tasted was very good. Fondue was excellent, but so was the fish, steak and desserts. Full of locals. Very friendly staff but service was spotty -both times we went- from very attentive to very slow!

Affordable and in a convenient location, walking distance from Nations tram stop. I went there a dozen times and the fondue is rich. Steak with bell pepper or green butter is the top for me. Tables not big and may be crowded on peak dinner times. Should make reservation.

Have just dined at this wonderful local cafe near to the intercontinental - the food was fabulous, the hosts were very friendly and the atmosphere local and lively. I had a steak and frittes - cooked perfectly and my partner had the duck special which she is still raving about as well as drooling over the lemon tart - with... More

We braved the rainy weather to visit this restaurant after reading about it on Trip Advisor! It was well worth it and we left very satisfied. It was quite busy, being a Sunday evening, but we got a table upstairs. Of course we had to try the fondue, and it had to be one of the most delicious meals we... More

Very friendly service. Good "plat du jour". We tested their cherries. I can only recommend... but only one portion if you drive the car...

While in Geneva on business, five of us went to Cafe du Soleil after recommendations from resident colleagues. Though a bit cramped (outside is likely much nicer when weather is warmer), the food & friendly wait staff more than made up for the somewhat drab / tired interior. Excellent fondue, fresh salads and tasty desserts. Highly recommended!

Very good steak with pepper sauce, Typical delicious Swiss steak. Very simple menu with variety between salads, steak and Fondue. The best thing about it is that it's open between 3-6 pm every day

My husband and I dined here on the last night of our honeymoon while staying nearby at the Intercontinental. I believe the hotel made the Sunday evening reservation for us. My husband started to get sick earlier that day (we’d been in Morocco, so perhaps it was Marrakesh’s Revenge?) and by the time dinner rolled around, I was the only... More

When entering the place seemed kind of shabby. However it turned out to be simple charm. The staff was quick and helpfull. When we asked about getting a taxi they immediately called one and warned us when it arrived.
