Happened upon here after we'd been recommended to go to Cafe de Paris near the station but it happened to be closed on Easter Saturday. There was no queue so we were seated immediately. Friendly waitress who was very forgiving often terrible French. There is no drinks menu so we ordered two beers as we weren't sure what the wines... More

Arrived at the restaurant for an aperitif and dessert only to be told quite rudely by the waitress that this was only available for clients who had eaten a main course only. The ambience was certainly spoilt by the rudeness of the staff

This is a great place to come for an excellent steak-and-chips, with good wine, all in a good-humoured (and noisy - this is not your romantic dinner for two place) atmosphere. Packed, and jolly: choose how you want your steak done and take the recommended wine - and have fun. And just when you think "oh, I didn't over-eat" they... More

I live in Geneva and this is our favourite restaurant here - food is fantastic. It's a particular traditional style - there is only 1 thing on the menu - Steak Frites - you sit down and they simply ask you how you want your steak done. It costs 42 CHF, and includes salad, 2 portions of Steak (don't worry... More

If you like good quality food, including tasty meat then you'll enjoy. However, tables very close to one another and when the place is packed (which is pretty much all the time) it can get loud and not a place to go to be "tête à tête" with your other half. Service good but when full this restaurant resembles a... More

We keep returning to this unusual restaurant again and again, drawn by its French bistro decor, white-approned and tight-bunned waitresses, and fabulous food. They may only serve one dish, but their steak comes out perfect every time, the fries are light and crunchy, and the sauce is out of this world delicious - as one might guess by the crowds... More

I enjoyed my evening in this very prominent restaurant. There is no pretence at haute cuisine. I would recommend it for venue and experience, but unfortunately can't recommend it as a top food venue in it's own right overall. They aren't bovered, because this place is rammed every evening, But listen to the real thing. The French understanding of chocolate... More

You only have to choose the wine and how you want your steak cooked, the rest is already set, with the fresh salad then the steak comes, and what a treat that is, cooked to perfection (I had Blue my friend had medium) The deserts are to die for, heart attacks waiting to happen Wine is awesome and reasonable prices... There was no line when I arrived so got a table straight away. Yes the service is perfunctory but the food is excellent, as long as you like Steak and Chips! Would go again.
