Excellent food in an old fashion room. The room is absolutely not very pleasant. Eating on the terrace overlooking the lake will be probably a lot more attractive. Presentation and service are very good but enough for a Michelin star? Also a very expensive winelist. Price/quality there must be better.

Le Chat-Botte provided me and my girlfriend a wonderful experience from start to finish. Service was impeccable. Being English speakers, I was happy that everyone spoke English fluently and was able to communicate very effectively. All of the service staff was courteous and helpful. They knew exactly when to come to the table and when to give us privacy, which... More

We went their for a birthday dinner: In the end a bit of a disappointment. The main course I choose 'suckling lamb' was served with two much fat: all I could taste was the fat. The sole my friend selected was not good: a texture like plastic. The wine : a St Emilion was an excellent wine: but so full... More

Came here with two colleagues for a "Thank you" dinner offered by a company that had worked for us. Everyone went for one of the set menu options which were all good and included some little extras as well so almost like a 6-course meal. The standard of cooking was very high throughout. Going for menus meant that the cost... More

Lovely setting, well spaced tables and views of the lake. Great service and food to match. The daily menu is priced reasonably and really worth the trip; match it with some great wines, voila.

We had a lunch here which was just right. The service was professional yet friendly, fantastic food which is nicely presented but doesn't try to be pretentious. We foscussed on fish dishes, probably one of the best sea-bass cooked in salt I have had. All the courses, even the basic salads were tasty and inventive, strongly recommended.

I picked Le Chat-Botte for dinner for my wife & I on a recent trip to Geneva based on their TripAdvisor rating and proximity to our hotel. It was expensive, but it was a great meal. The restaurant itself is somewhat smaller than I expected and a bit dated with their decor. But the food was outstanding and the service... More

A superbly prepared five course luncheon was timely served by an efficient and courteous Swiss waiter--who was attentive but unobtrusively so.

On 27th of August 2013, I invited my wife for her birthday. I organised for her a memorable birthday dinner on this occasion, choosing in advance the best table location, red roses bouquet of flowers, flowers on the table, a chocolate birthday cake with personalized text in russian and a menu in english or in french (without the prices for... Seated on a flowery first-floor terrace overlooking Lac Leman, we were well disposed to be wowed by Le Chat Botté. In its favor are numerous delectable amuses-bouches and beautifully presented dishes. A tiny glass of cold cucumber and mint soup, mushroom mousse with truffles, and cherries with balsamic vinegar and sorbet stood out in particular. The charming sommelier offered good... More
