Superb service, good menu and above all decent food. Salad Lyonnaise was excellent, souris d'agneau cooked perfectly. A plus is the place is always open. Go with an appetite.

A good quality, reliable brasserie. The food is excellent -- especially the seafood (fresh oysters, quenelles de brochet) and desserts (any of their mille feuilles) -- and service is friendly and professional. Open everyday until 2am nonstop, including Sunday -- unheard of for Geneva! They have a pretty outdoor courtyard which is the best place to sit -- heated in... More

This brasserie offers good, fresh food with a long list and something for everyone. The locals like to go there even though the place is big, and does not offer the atmosphere of many other local restaurants. Ideal on a Sunday when many restaurants are closed.

A very nice and trendy brasserie, especially a place where you'll see bankers, financial people and lawyers, maybe even some local Genevois VIPs. Somewhat pricy but food and variety is pretty good. Open late so ideal if you see an evening movie prior.

Good food, good service. Terrible seating, people are too close to each other. Very noisy. A place some go to be seen. An address.

Ordered fresh oysters, veal steak, salad and escargot. I must say none of them was disappointing. All yummies!

This is a restaurant that is in a great retreat. The restaurant is very large, yet intolerable overcrowding, Distance between a table to table, 2 cm only, and to get into your place the waiter drags the table out.... This does not allow for a quiet conversation or some romance.... The price is very expensive, and if you do not... More

Even though the only reason we found it was that it was the only place we could find open, it was worth the visit. If you don't like things that crawl along the bottom of the ocean, the steak was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Like the restaurants of the same name in Paris and Brussels, Brasserie Lipp is known for first-rate food, particularly seafood. This Lipp is pretty much always busy, with service that's quite French (as in frequently aloof, but very knowledgeable about both food and wine). It is expensive, but then, in Geneva, restaurants pretty much always are. One quibble: the volume... More
