We loved the Lipp in Geneva so we decided to try out the Zurich branch for once. To be surprised it is not at all as crowded, and in a much nicer location and layout. Food is as delicious and fresh, although it is more on the fusion side. Service can be friendly. Great thing is that it also opens... More

I know that dining in Switzerland is expensive, and Brasserie Lipp is no exception. Yes the service was very professional and polished. The food was not very memorable. The ambience - like a high end shopping mall....which is where it is. Next time I am in Geneva, will skip this eatery and try to find something a little more casual.

As a "regular" patron I can only recommend Lipp for casual to formal meals all day around, all prices, and efficient waiters. Noisy but lively inside, the summer terrasse is top, covered during winter.

The Brasserie has and excellent reputation. The reason is the quality of the food and quality of service. They have an extensive repertoire of food choices. My personal preference is the Sea Bass. The desserts are fantastic as is the wine. However, none of it comes cheap but as they say you get what you pay for. Brasserie Lipp is... More

It was a special day for me because I had lunch with my mum, who is over 70 years old. The service was perfect. We both ordered the day's special (plat du jour) which was a Salade niçoise with grilled tuna. Unfortunately, my mother got very sick one hour after we left each other after the lunch. I was not... The Concierge suggested the restaurant for a late lunch and we were very impressed with the service and food. Great Steak Tartare and the floating islands for dessert were huge. They had no qualms about serving us soft drinks as we don't drink alcohol. We went back for dinner another evening (mostly to have the floating islands dessert!!!) and it... More

Our concierge suggested this restaurant when we were looking for somewhere for a late and leisurely lunch. We were worried when we first found it as it looked initially like it was inside a small shopping centre - not what we wanted at all. However on further inspection it was separate to the shops and looked like a traditional French... More

We stayed in Geneva for 3 days last week, and twice had dinner at Lipp. The open aired dining area was bathed in sunshine which may have added to the experience, very attentive staff and superb food from a very extensive menu. The icing on the cake for me was finding Madarine Napoleon on the liquer list, the first time... More

Brasserie Lipp is a very good restaurant, located right in the downtown. You should make a reservation, especially for the weekends (they are open on sunday too). The food is delicious, the service is very good and friendly. But of course the prices are high.

It was end of December and quite early for dinner, the place was empty and they still made out as if they were too busy to give us a table. Now this restaurant is big, very big, I would say sits 300. Food fantastic, service top notch, price ridiculous
