I went for the second time to Le Calamar restaurant and ordered the Cheeseburger. When I was about to finish the dish I found a worm inside the burger. It might have slipped through with the salad. I felt disgusted at the moment and told the waitress that there was a worm inside my meal, she started laughing and charged... More

I came to Calamar for the first time probably around 5-6 years ago. I remember being impressed with the service, interesting menu and the fact that I was asked for the cuisson of my burger - something other burger places in Geneva didn't do. I've since been back 3 more times, hoping it would be the same but each time... More

The burgers are really delicious and filling. They start from 16 franks to 20. The service wasn't really good as all the staff seemed a bit miserable but the food in general was good.

Geneva is a city that has not too much options when it comes for late dining. Le Calamar is a nice place with a ok burger. Nice atmosphere...

Not impressed. Dissapointed... Anchoiade is clearly out of a tin and does not taste of anchovies.... Burgers where fine, nithing impressive, but service was slow slow slow totally disorganised and ended up being very rude when we asked for our bottle of wine for the third time.. Not going back, there is way better around.

The burgers were nice, but I have tried better in Geneva. The service was a big cold, one of the girls was almost rude. They charged us 1chf per tag water jar, when we asked they said it was for charity.

It seems that every restaurant in Geneva lately claims to have the best hamburgers. Le Calamar makes the claim but doesn't take the prize. While the monthly menu is very entertaining with new takes on toppings, etc., the burger is just your average burger. It just costs more than the other places. Nevertheless, the other items on the menu, notably... More

Don't be turned off by the scary website or the somewhat bizarre way the menu is presented on their website (it's an attempt to be "edgy" I think). This is actually a very unpretentious casual restaurant that has really great burgers. It gets a bit rowdy in the evenings (there is usually a live DJ on weekends) but nothing out... More

This is the sort of place Geneva needs more of - relaxed, not stuffy or snooty, modern food, reasonable price. The burgers are good and along with the fries and salad are a substantial meal. Only a couple of francs more than the take-out burger places for a nicer, sit-down meal.

One of the few places in Geneve that actually serves a relatively decent burger. Forget about the service its always hit and miss not only here but all of Swiss. What I always find bizarre about eateries in Swiss is that they never come back after they serve you food and ask if its ok, and never never return to... More
