Best burgers

The burgers are very good. The outside seating is very relaxing. They have very good cocktails and nice and friendly staff

Le Calamar has a short menu, offering a few different burgers, and usually 2-3 daily specials. It is usually quite good food, although sometimes it has felt a bit expensive for the value. Considering the burger, the meat and the bread are good but the fries are very thin and often burned... I guess the place is ok if you... More

Went there with few friends- service is very poor and the food is really disgusting : we had a plate of so called Calamar as a starter, it was in a bath of water and salt.. then the burger, well something called burger: no taste at all in a bread hard like rock.. We paid close to 40chf each! Never... More

By "reputation" they are supposed to have good burgers. Some people end up here when Inglewood (5 min walk away) is full - and I feel sorry for them. The burger cost the same but is not even half as tasty unfortunately. Also, the drinks are overpriced for what it is and the place seems to live on expats (who... More

It's not rare to be disappointed by a restaurant, but it's especially galling when the restaurant serves basic food like hamburgers and pasta carbonara. The service is fine, and the location makes it a popular stop for locals and tourists, but the food is unfortunately below par. One gets the impression that the chef (or cook) has simply run out... I went to the Calamar for the first time expecting an enjoyable meal. My friends and I were asked to wait for 5 minutes for a table. The waiter told us he would offer us a glass if after 15minutes we did not get a table. 20 minutes later I go to the waiter and ask how long we still... More

Le Calamr is one of many burger restaurant in Geneva. Due to its location there are many students from uni. The place is very different. Decoration is arty and anti mainstream which is qui good. I've been a few times. However, i've always been disappointed in the meat of the burgers. Each time it was way too chopped up. It... More

Le Calamar used to be a great burger place. The atmosphere is nice, not fancy but cool enough to enjoy hanging out there. I like coming here as its not too far away from home and (rather rare in geneva) not as overpriced as other places (don’t get me wrong…i am not saying tis super cheap) Why the low rating?... More

Great burgers, open on Sundays (which isn't easy to find in Geneva). And open non-stop on Sundays, which is also hard to find!

The size of the burgers is acceptable for the price but their meat has absolutely no spices or salt added to it. It's just minced meat cooked in a bun. The cheese is only a thin and tasteless layer of glue used to stick the meat to the bread. The risotto (27 swiss francs) ordered as a main course turned... More
