Perfect breakfast

Just went here for a quick breakfast before taking our city guided tour of Geneva. Never expected or to be so charming. The setting is excellentand the staff are very friendly. The artisan bread and the home made jams were an excellent start to a long day. Would certainly recommend for breakfast.

I went here with a vegetarian friend and she was delighted with the choice on the menu. It is a very chilled, quick and easy place to go for food and drinks after work and particularly nice to sit outside in pretty surroundings. A good choice of dishes and easy to share. The only thing that let it down slightly... More

This place was highly recommended to us so we were quite excited to eat there. We went on a Monday evening and ordered food at 8.30pm. 1hr later the waitress came to say that she screwed up and mixed up the order. Yes it is a mistake but nothing was done to compensate except offering a coffee once we actually... More

Near the famous lake of Geneva, with the view towards the famous fountain. It was too crowded, like everybody in Geneva has nowhere else to gather. The food was good.

I was in Geneva for business and had lunch and dinner in this place as both groups \i was having meals with chose it. Lunch has a normal menu, with healthy and delicious food, dinner is more of a casual tapas share deal. Yes it is expensive, but not for Geneva standards, it is infront of a fountain and you... More

The worst place I visited in Geneva. We waited mire than 50 min for 4 simple tapas, after that another 30 min for the bill. Rude staff, tiny uncomfortable tables and chairs. Very bad experiance.

We just got lucky and wandered over to the Cottage Cafe after we arrived in Geneva. It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation, but they were kind enough to slide us in. The food (tapas style) was incredibly flavorful without being too rich or over the top. The variety in options was great as well. This was... More

Very hip place to have casual drinks and tapas. Very busy so was a bit of a wait for things but we were in no hurry. Waiters worked hard with a big crowd.

Four of us visited for dinner at the Cottage Café (Geneva) in July. We had to book in advance, as tables were in demand. We had six different tapas, as these are served from 6pm. They were: Iberico trio; :Shak Shouka (baked eggs in spicy sauce); chavignon (goats' cheese salad); sweet potato pie; young potato with sun-dried tomatoes; and chicken... More

This is a lovely cafe close to the lake. A great place for breakfast, you can sit outside or inside. I ordered the muesli which has to be the best I've ever had it - it was served with loads of fresh fruit beautifully arranged and made fresh to order. The espresso was smooth and they served it with water... More
