Delicious mezze in a cosy setting

The place is decorated like a winter garden, feels like you are a guest at friend's home who just cooked the most delicious mezze for you :)

Very nice place - comfortable with beautiful view and then the Swiss hospitality differs - we asked for coffee at 12.30 and we're told we could have it outdoor as inside lunch is served but we were not ready for lunch then. We went in at 13.45 and asked to have lunch. Once we made our choices we were informed... More

This little place was across from our hotel in Geneva and would you believe we picked the coldest night of our stay in Geneva to go there! As it turned out, it wasn't a mistake. They have few seats indoors, so we sat outdoors in 40+ weather. On every seat they had put a very nice blanket for you to... More

Great location, very central right next to the lake. Really reasonable prices for being in such a fantastic location and really tasty tapas food. Great portion sizes - we had 4 plates between the two of us which was filling enough for us. Lovely to sit outside with a rug to keep our legs warm in the autumn evening.

This little cottage restaurant is the perfect little eclectic place to go for a morning coffee and the tartine ( their homemade bread) with a choice of many homemade jams, the cherry is especially delicious The service is friendly and laid back, a definite must whether you sit inside or out

Came across this place after arriving in Geneva quite late. Great choice of tapas dishes, the squid was AMAZING. Waitress spoke great English but the service wasn't overly attentive, could have been worse, could have been better. Well worth a try especially for a small meal.

Decided to have lunch after site seeing at the lake. Found the Brunswick monument and right behind it we saw the Cottage Cafe! Great outdoor set up...nice fountain...and monument which adds to the whole experience. We had a mexican taco, but it is nothing like you expect...it is a fancy taco that will leave you begging for more

Having read the reviews I had to make sure I was reviewing the correct place as the staff were great when we were there. Only went for breakfast, limited menu of Spelt bread and conserves, usual selection of drinks. But the limited menu does't matter, the bread was superb and the conserves matched. The Rhubarb and ginger was our favourite... More

Waitress was wonderful. Menu was in French but she took time to go over it in English with us. We shared the risotto plate. It was very good and they had no problem with us sharing.

I used to love going to the cottage cafe and would often take visitors there. Hoever, it seems that things have changed. The staff was SO rude, we waited over an hour to get our food and when we asked our waitress (Who was the manager, I think) about the status of our order she MOCKED us. It was honestly... More
