Gorgeous Hot Soup In A Snow Storm!

We got our eye on this little place on our one full day in Geneva. We'd passed by it in the morning in a park near the Brunswick statue. What caught our eye was the wood burning stove outside the cafe, complete with chairs and rugs. We were on our way up to the old town, but earmarked it for... read more

This café literally is in a cottage. Charming place right by the lake, with a nice outdoor area. It does great tapas, albeit expensive for the amount of food. A fantastic herbal tea with basil as its base ingredient that is sure to surprise. Good desserts too. Overall, a quality place that I have enjoyed many times...

So glad we cam across this lovely cafe. Set in a small park near the waterfront it has a lovely outdoor area and a cute little indoor cafe. One of the loveliest breakfasts I have had - far surpassed expectations. Lovely toast and beautifully presented and yummy homemade Bircher muesli with fruit....doesn't sound like much, but you have to try... More

If the above sounds like your cup of tea then this is the place to go to. Smack in the heart of the city in the middle of a park overlooking the Jet eau and mountains. Very quaint & relaxed atmosphere perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nothing pretentious but just a small cottage converted into a reading room with... More

Every time I visit Geneva I make sure to have a few meals at the cottage café. For lunch, they always have delicious plats du jour. Their food is creative, fresh and they have an excellent attention to detail. The bread they serve with the food is super tasty with flavors from all over the world. After 6pm they have... More

We were walking by the lake, going with the flow and saw this lovely little house, out from a Disney cartoon :) so we decided to have lunch and honestly I thought it would be those tourist places where the food will be less than average. Once inside we were take care of despite being so busy. We sat by... More

This lovely café was near to the hotel we were staying in. It was a cold winters morning and there were people sitting outside wrapped in blankets eating & drinking. It looked so inviting we thought we would give it a try. All the food is freshly made to order and the homemade bread & jams were delicious as was... More

I happened upon this place on a Saturday morning and am so glad I stopped in for breakfast. It is in a little part with an amazing view of the lake. The food and staff were great. And the atmosphere is unique.

A unique restaurant! The setting is awesome: a small and lovely house close to the Lake, in front of the monument brunswick, and set apart from all the trafic in a small park. The food is expensive but of great quality. They offer a limited range of small tapas-like dishes and wines which are all delicious. A great place to... More

In old cities, such as Geneva, for you to eat great quality food, you need to run from touristic and major known places. The best food you will find in cities like Geneva (and Rome, Venice, Madrid, Lisbon, etc) are small places attended mostly by locals. This is one of those places. Act as the Swiss and plan your meal.... More
