A lovely Surprise

Visited with a friend on a Monday night. The room is lovely and intimate. The service was very pleasant. La Carte is very very rich and I admit I was tempted by almost everything ! We had the Houmous and the parmigiana, the chocolate mousse and the raspberry cheesecake. All very very delicious... read more

I have frequented the Cottage many times in the last years and even organized an event at the restaurant as it offers a quaint setting for a glass of wine and small plates. Unfortunately after my most recent experience, I will not be returning. I am pregnant and am advised to take extra precautions with hygiene and food. I noted... More

It is not often you can match the words city with idyllic. So this little nook is perfect. Sit outside by the open fire on the couch or at the various tables. Have a coffee or drink or tea or a meal. Ginger cake was my choice. Value for money. Well presented. Service was good enough to leave a larger... More

In all of the places I ate in Geneva this was the best atmosphere and service. I stopped in for dessert only and could not have asked for a better experience. I wish I had my lunch here too. The next time I am back in Geneva I will be back. Highly recommend.

We came across this quaint cafe while walking around the Brunswick Monument. We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and discovered they had toast, pastries and coffee. On closer inspection of the menu we discovered some wonderful toppings for the toast including a vast array of homemade jams and a beautiful cheese spread. The menu shows the price per... More

Discovered this wonderful cafe quite by chance after traipsing around Geneva looking for a decent place to sit and relax. Very Bohemian - but in a sensible way with plenty of good books to read, table games and magazines. Coffee and cakes were always excellent and the people who run the cafe are friendly and approachable.

ENGLISH This small cafe / restaurant is very close to the lake and Bains de Paquis. It's worth spending for a coffee or tea with good friends or reading a good book. Magical place, very friendly and helpful staff, good food and drinks. I strongly recommend the Tea "Cottage". PORTUGUÊS Este pequeno cafe/restaurante encontra-se muito perto do Lago e de... More
