Elegant, classic, comfortable ambiance. Friendly, welcoming, attentive staff. Had a Buy-Club voucher for Peking Duck and enjoyed every part of the meal. Had to skip the soup because no room left in our tummies! The "pop-corn" looking basis" used on some of the courses should better have been left out. It was kind of odd! Nice wine card. When, upon... We had the buy club coupon for the Peking duck set menu. We lived in Beijing for two years and never saw a duck like this under that name. There was no starter. They brought the pancakes and fixings first, together with only the crispy duck SKIN on a huge pile of popcorn-like rice noodles. The breast came sliced as... More

Peking duck is recommended as well as pork dishes. Prompt and professional service but expect high prices, like anywhere else in Geneva. What would go for 10$ per person elsewhere is served for 30$ upwards.

My wife and I went here last week-end for the buyclub duck meal: starter, 2 main courses and a soup all made from a whole duck. The food was absolutely perfect, nothing to fault whatsoever. Would definitely go again.

Bearing in mind that chinese food is an overpriced "luxury", this place isn't bad. I use this place for client lunches and the service is great.

After a busy week, my wife and I decided to eat out. Some friends had recommended the Baguette D'Or and we went for it. Polite welcome, snow white table covers, comfy seating and relaxed ambiance. Waiters are following your every eye movement but keeping a distance, so one can have a private conversation. On recommendation we went for the fried... More

On the plainpalais place, this restaurant looks a little bit dumpy from the outside. But inside the decoration is right on. As is the food (generous, sophisticated and delicious). It is expensive (56 CHF for two menus: entrée-plat-dessert) but come on this is Geneva. It is noticeable during lunch break, the service is quick and it is of one the... More
