Reasonable Italian Restaurant

Looking for somewhere to eat after a long day sight seeing, we came upon Alfredo (Italian) restaurant. Appeared to be a family run restaurant. Menu offered usual Italian fare. We chose the Chef's suggestion for the day, which was steak - no, not Italian. Haven't eaten a lot of steak in Switzerland... read more

Went there for lunch today with a friend. It took 45 minutes before we were served what we had ordered. Even then, they had forgotten butter for the toast, which it took them another ten minutes to bring out. There were plenty of waiters (we saw at least four serving the outdoor area) but none of them were in sight... More

We arrived here at 23:00 on a very balmy night in early June. The waiters were happy to seat us outside thankfully. Not a lot open later on in this part of Geneva so a welcome sight. Pizza was quite nice (nothing special) house wine in small measures and a San Pelligrino water cost us 56 Swiss francs. So not... More

Be early for lunch. Lot of regular "office" people. If you like pizza it is ok. Most likely try something else because pastas and other choices e.g. lasange are tasty.

We were struggling on the night of the Geneva fireworks to find a restaurant. Wandering the streets near our hotel, we came across this restaurant. It's not in the best of areas and doesn't look much from the outside, but the food was really enjoyable. Staff were friendly and traditional. Interior of the restaurant looked like something out of the... More

not surprisingly we found very good Italian food in Geneva. This isn't the most fancy restaurant however the menu is fairly extensive and the food is excellent. Having eaten there several times now over the past few years, they remain consistent.

Right next door to our hotel so ate there several times after tiring days out. Italian food with excellent service and little delay even when busy.

I liked the food served here. The service is efficient and prompt. The restaurant is located very close to lake Geneva. The wine and other stock is good in quality and has a good variety.
