Good sized portions but main courses too salty

We ordered a focaccia for starters to share (there were 2 of us), then for mains a king prawn lemon risotto and prosciutto pizza. The focaccia was not the soft doughy type I am used to, but a thinish pizza base with some salt and rosemary and not enough olive oil. The king prawn risotto was not... read more

We went for dinner with the entire family. The kids menu was great. The scenery was just fantastic. Our food and service was good as well. However, the quality price for the food was just far off. 30 dollars for a regular pizza is way exaggerated.

Good location especially in the summer as you can have outaide lunch with a nice view of the lake. the cousine is acceptable, the service is not very fast but overall I was more than satisfied with my cesar salad. the prices are in line with Geneve's standard ie quite high.

It was my first visit to Geneva and my associate and I stumbled into Le Lacustre just by chance. It was a beautiful evening and the outdoor dining was perfect for the view of the lake. We were fortunate enough to be served by Fabio Bael, a native of Sicily, and an outstanding waiter. He helped us with choosing from... More

Had a lovely meal and savoured the local perch along with a glass of wine. Service generally good and the view beautiful. Weather was clear enough that you could see Mont Blanc. Considering the position the prices were reasonable. Recommended for a meal with a view.

During our 2 day visit in Geneva, before heading to the French Alps, we decided to try out this restaurant that was a few meters from the lake. We ordered some seafood dishes and enjoyed every bite! Although it's kind of pricey, we would love to come back again.

Yesterday while passing the restaurant I opened tripadvisor and I saw bad ratings so I decided to eat at the pizzeria across the street, food was terrible and so was the service. So today I decided to eat here, best service and Italian food ever, I would recommend eating here more than any other place in Geneva

We were here for dinner in July 2015. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily we were able to get one the last free tables near the lake. I would recommend getting a reservation, if possible. The restaurant has lovely views of the Lake. The food is pretty average. We ordered a Vegetarian Pizza - which was 12 inches, crust... More

The location and views are great, food okay, nothing special but good. Pastas 20-30 CHF, Geneva standard. Good size portions. Service good and attentive, we were even slow to order and I never go to a restaurant in a rush so really do not mind waiting 20 mins between the courses, aperitivos etc. Nothing to complain.
